Pack of multiplayer bugs

Hi all!
*is new*

I've been playing an online HoF game with a friend, and we played through it all the way to the severed hand. However all that time, there has been a multiplayer bug. When a character equips items, or changes the location of items in his inventory, the message-screen gets flooded with messages. "Char: Protected from evil" for example. It's very annoying but not deadly.

The second bug is deadly however. :P My friend gets kicked out of the game sometimes. He doesn't react for some time, and then it says: "Player: Dropped from game." With this, 2 of his characters lose about 30 hitpoints each. I've checked Dalekeeper II, and restored the base HP, but it keeps happening and it's very very annoying to restore it everytime.

I have the very latest patch installed.

Ok thanks for the info. His ping is rather low though, he lives next to me and has 50 ms ping all the time.

Welcome, Taz!

Maybe there's a setting that kicks out inactive players automatically after a certain amount of time...? (Don't know for sure, though, I've never played IWD in multi).

The first thing is more likely to be caused by the item's special proterty. Check the weapon description, maybe it provides Protection from Evil automatically.

Yes I know about the special abilities, but I've never noticed 50 messages that my char has protection from evil in singleplayer. Also when saving or entering a new area this shows up. It's just annoying nothing more :)

Seems you've already got used to it so that's not a problem anymore :D (Not the best solution, though, I know...)
