ya, sad how im broke in game and in real life...any mod out there that can make me feel better at least in-game?

To add gold, you don't need something as invasive as a mod... The easiest way to get gold (dishonestly) is to go to Mae'Var's merchant, buy a couple of Potions of Master Thievery, and sell your inventory to him. Steal it back. Repeat as often as necessary. This can get tedious, though.

Another was is to turn the CluaConsole on:
1. Open your Baldur.ini file which is in your root directory using a text editor such as Windows notepad. You may want to copy it first to another directory so you will have the original in case something goes wrong.
2. Look for the heading called [Program Options]
3. Insert a line called Debug Mode=1
this will tell the game you want to turn on the cheating system
4. Save the file and restart Baldur's Gate II.
5. When you are back playing the game again. Press CRTL+SPACE. You now should see a dialogue box allowing you to type in words.

Its pretty easy to get money, just go and kill things, loot gold and items, sell items... keep gold... do Mini quests in game...

But if you still wanna cheat.. Open up your Baldur.ini file in the BGII folder (my computer > The drive you instlled it on, Defult is "C" drive > Program files> Black isle > BGII SoA > Baldur (text documemnt)

Once in the Baldur Document. Just add the following line under the
[Program Options]
Debug Mode=1

Then when in game hold Ctrl and Spacebar down on your Keyboard to get Cheat window up, then type CLUAConsole:AddGold (999999)

I think cheating is boring... But hey its your choice Hope this helps..

OR use shadowkeeper, ennuf ways to cheat into the game, but pls, dont do it, it spoils the fun imo

DKong911, these forums are for everybody who wants to play the game, and find out information about it. This means those that take it as it is, those that employ cheese, and those that use cheats. You don't have to participate in a thread about cheats if you don't like 'em. Personally, I don't use cheese or cheats, but if somebody's purchased the game, they can play it as they wish. And it's not my call--or yours--to criticize 'em, here.
