I've just sold of a bunch of games and i've got some loot to spend at the store. Any suggestions? I'm partial to sports and driving games.

Well i've just played a demo of juiced, and found it a very good balanced and challenging game. Definitley at least 90% from what i can tell. (limited content demo)

okay not sure about driving games, but if you're into basketball, definately pick up espn NBA 2k5. its out and it very much rocks. that and sw battlefield (for the pc, so i actually have get off the couch now and then) are all i've been playing for the past few days. anyhow, check out 2k5 for a very solid bball game and an extremely decent pricetag. i found it best buy for 20. Well actually it was free, because i used a giftcard i got for my birthday (thanks mom) but i think you know what i mean.

as for driving games, i'm still playing pole position... :)

heh thanks for the info. thanks everyone. captainbumble, you kind of suggested one of the games i had been thinking about. espn does look nice. does it play well? like player control and all that - good?

First of all woodshed, gotta say- love your signature. cannonball run is the sh*t.

Second of all, i've only had espn 2k5 for a few days now, but from what i've seen- i'm very impressed. A solid game with detailed players and just a very realistic feeling overall. Player control is tight- extremely precise with great reaction times. playes move with a fluid, realistic motion that makes the game seem more real. yeah, its clearly it's still a game, but i think this is as close as you're going to come to the real thing without strapping on a headband and hitting the court yourself. that plus the price make 2k5 a helluva deal, IMHO.
