small number of species in KOTOR

I got the impression that almost 70 % of NPCs (not counting humans) we can interact with are twilexs and rodians. Almost every merchant and pazaak player is rodian and every other official or soldier is twilex. There should be more species in the game (there are 12 species in the jedi council on Corruscant, surely the game designers can work with something of it). It's a shame that there were no dougs or toydarians on tattoine....the game is excellent, but it's sometimes boring NPC-wise. More ithorians, quarrens or some other species... is known universe really divided like: 90% humans, twilexs and rodians and 10% all other?

Animated artwork takes a truckload of resources to do: people, equipment, time, money. Nothing in development is as expensive, if you do it right.

And there are only 11 species on the Jedi Council

(I take it you mean at the time of Episodes 1-3). Yoda and Yaddle are both.... whatever they are!

No no, the universe isn't comprised 90% humans, 10% other species. It's compromised 89% of the same humans, 1% different humans, and 10% aliens. Granted, I can understand that making so many detailed faces (human and alien) would be a lot of work and most likely be more expensive, but god I got bored running into the same faces all over the place.

Also i hate the things they say when you try and talk to non-important characters. They just say the same things.

Like half of the unimportant NPCs don't even say different things if you talk to them twice. It'll change after other events happen, and some actually do say different things, but it's still pretty bland.
