Oreos

Most of us have grown up with oreo cookies. There are many ways to eat to eat a Oreo cookie. Twisting them then eating the middle first. Dunking them, or eating the whole thing at one time, and many more.
There are also many types of Oreos. Double-Stuf, Christmas Oreos, Halloween Oreos and others. Oreo is the best-selling cookie in America and a total of 362 billion Oreos have been sold since 1912.
My question is what way do you prefer eating them and which one is your favorite.

Is 'none of the above' an option?

I'm un-American, I can't stand Oreos. Too sweet in the middle and not sweet enough on the outside.
I would put forth the idea (great idea IMHO) of replacing the Oreo with Tea. Tea is the way to truth!!.
(And before someone starts... they don't counter act each other.

what exactly are they? I vaguely know what they look like, and I gather that they were originally invented by the military when they were trying to create a snack that could instantly render a small town morbidly obese through some kind of sugar-based osmosis. but that's as far as my familiarity with them goes.

Small, additive-laden, cookies consisting of three layers. Traditionally, the two outer layers are allegedly chocolate-flavoured (if cardboard contains cocoa that is..
![Stick Out Tongue :p](./images/smilies/)
), and the inner layer is an overly sweet, solidified 'creamy' substance...
Here is the website of the dreaded Oreo..

Not a fan of the stuff, myself: sorry. The chocolate is without flavor, and the filling is cloying. I'll take some chocolate cake or a thick, homemade chocolate chip cookie, anyday.

You could also replace DW's description with "heaven in cellophane"

While I like great food, I am certainly not a "food snob."

Oreos are best eaten, period. I consume them in every established way while I'm eating them. My favorite: immersion intact, eat the whole thing.
EDIT - The road to hell is littered with Weasel's used tea bags.

I like to eat my oreos with milk. It prevents your mouth from getting dry, so you can eat more!
My favorite ones are the ones covered in chocolate fudge. Yum yum.

I think they are "aquired taste" for many Americans. Personally I don't like them at all, like Weasel, DW and Fable has already said, I also find the outer layers taste like cardboard and the filling sickenly sweet. I don't think they contain any essential nutrition that I can't get elsewhere, so I simply don't eat them.

I'll eat them if they are in the house, but if there aren't any in the house I don't really have any desire at all that "I MUST FIND OREO! GAAAAAHHH!". When I DO eat Oreos I tend to eat them one cookie at a time, no twisting, no seperating of cookie and cream, just the whole disgusting thing!

A somewhat wacky question. (Unless you know what I'm talking about)
Is America the only country that has ever had Oreos (or another other chocolate candies) deep-fried? I swear that came over from some part of Europe.
Sure, in America, they're more of a fair commodity, but I'd like to see what people think of it, while we're on the subject of Oreos.

A cookie should be like a vanilla Wafer.
Able to withstand a nuclear blast and great with tea or coffee.

So you're saying that after the bomb, the human race is exterminated and the nuclear winter finally clears, the world will be populated by coc!roaches and vanilla wafers.

Oh wow...It's normal enough not to LIKE oreos (although it COULD be considered grounds to question one's sanity), but replacing them with TEA???
TEA???? Euuugh....excuse me while I empty the contents of my stomach into a toilet!
I'd say Oreos are best eaten with a spoon after heaping them into a tall glass of ice-cold milk and allowing them to dissolve. Yum.

Only way I can handle tea is if it is ice cold and has a lot of sugar in it. I don't like that crap that comes in a can, or a bottle or anything either. I don't want lemon-flavored tea.
Main reason tea is annoying to me is that it have some kind of weird aftertaste or SOMETHING that makes my mouth feel gritty, or something I can't quite explain.
I can fix the problem though, grap a roll of duct-tape and some tin foil. Have a friend wrap your head in the foil (***LEAVING A BREATHING HOLE..IMPORTANT ) and then have your friend duct-tape it twice (***Remember the breathing hole again!). Take a picture of yourself and post it in the Photo Thread and the curse will be lifted.
Man, last halloween I covered my face in duct tape..and for like 5 minutes it was AWESOME! Then I realised that I would have to take the tape OFF afterwards..that part sucked. Oh, and I got a picture of it as well, now to go find a site to post it or sumpin.
Okie..got it posted on VillagePhotos.
