I don't know why this is happening.
In chapter 3 (River Cave Exit) when I come around the cave corner as I'm approaching the gate where the Beastlord Harshom is...... my characters freezes. I can't do anything, not even view my map, items, etc.

I went in Program Files and delete the files and its still freezing.

Does anyone know what I can do to fix this so that I can continue playing the game.

thats a new one. I know that at the situation you discuss the game goes into 'movie mode' like it did in chapter 1 when the goblins attack targos. your character are supposed to then walk up to the gathered rangers and bears while Harshom makes his speech. I'm guessing that for some reason it isn't getting past the point where movie mode takes over, just catches at the point when it stops you doing anything.

Have you downloaded the last patch? Could you be low on memory? Full cache? Otherwise you might have to try a few things like walking only a single character up to the point where movie mode takes over, perhaps having too many summoned creatures or Buffing spells?

Aside from that I don't know sorry.
