I apologize for not using it before I started the thread "Best Enchantments?" but I will use it for now.

My Apologies,

It is also worth checking out the MW Yellowpages Sticky. A couple of links I find especially helpful are "Hannah's Where Is.." and the FAQ site.

For the record, depsite the immensity of Morrowind I find it hard to believe that there are too many topics out there that haven't been touched upon before. Also, some topics are worth mentioning again (like discussions about certain subjects) once in a while, to respark the debate & also to see what potential new members of the forum have to say.
Anyway, that's just me being the devil's advocate... :)

Also, I find the search function to be slightly irritating. I don't want every response from all of the gamebanshee forums on the key word 'best sword' f ex... it can be tough to narrow down sometimes... :)

I find the Gamebanshee search function to be far more convenient than most of the others I've seen.

And what's this about getting results from several forums in here? Just choose whatever target forums you want from the "Search in forum(s)" list.

Indeed. Maybe this should be stickied, as an aditional reminder.

I can remember countless

Best Armour Arguments
Where is..... (BoBS, etc.)
Have i messed up
Whats the best.... (insert your choice here)

And to be perfectly frank it annoys the hell out of me. And makes me not want to post, as i have answered the same questions many times before.

So fable, if you see this... any chance of a stickie?

As true as that may be, if you're sick of answering the same questions then don't answer them I'm sure there are other people who would be happy to answer the question. As well these forums are an excellent way of getting opinions on the many different matters and quests in Morrowind.

For anyone who does not know:
The search button is white, and is located third from the upper, right hand side of the page along with a group of other white clickables. If you look where it says "Private Messages," you should see the Search button just below. It is a good idea to head to the "Advanced Search" once there, as this avoids clogging up your results with threads from every forum on Game Banshee.

Also, you may need to play with the search engine a little, since clearly whatever you key in determines your results. Once you get used to it, though, you'll find that it is very straightforward and user friendly.
Note: as is the case with other search engines, be sure you have the correct spelling.
So fable, if you see this... any chance of a stickie?
Not a bad idea in theory... but that assumes people actually read the stickies.. I mean if they did, surely they would also notice the excellent resources supplied in the Morrowind Yellowpages Sticky.

I'm inclined to agree with DW on this. We could sticky the thread, but the kind of people it's meant to impress are just the ones who are likely to bypass it and ask redundant questions, anyway.

The ironic thing is that people who want opinions only a tiny cross section if they canvas the subset of currently active members, but if they use search, they'll bring up far more information and opinion on a host of topics.

Feel free in any case to politely suggest that new members try using Search, when it seems a reasonable option.

I've been to many forums. None of them feature a majority of sticky-readers.

I just wanted to remind people of the abilitly to use the search function. Because I have noticed a lot of new People in the Morrowind Forum and many were asking questions that have had countless threads on them. Not to be rude or anything but it was getting annoying.
