a couple weeks ago i was playing morrowind and the game froze every hour or so...now it freezes every 15minutes...and its been cleaned a million times(even by professionals) and its getting cleaned once more today. is it just the game or the disk?(im playing x box)

Actually Sean, im having the same problem with mine. I havent modded it or anything. Like you, ive also cleaned it dozens of times. Maybe we just need to leave it alone for a while

My friend also has the same problem, and I believe it is from exploiting glitches. Because I was explioting a lot of glitches with one game and it started freezing every 10 minutes... other than that i dunno... does it happen with all your saved files or just certain ones?

I've seen one file mess up many times for whatever reason while the other file I was using remains unaffected for the most part. An odd occurance, perhaps its the amount of blocks required for that single save file or because of a certain area in the game or series of events that are triggering the freezing.

Yes that is exactly how it is for me, im pretty sure the effected game file is freezing up because there is not supposed to be a potion of levitation for 1335872 pts for 124721343 seconds in the game lol and various other similar potions. =3

But i dont have the skill to do that, just restarted yesterday

Well actually its a very cheesy way to make high level potions and enchant your stuff without ever failing (highlight to see) You go to the Imperial Shrine in Sadrith Mora: Wolverine Hall and then buy Bloats and the other alchemical ingredient that foritifies intelligence until you have about 300 of each. Make about 5 potions and drink them. Then you'll make potions even more regularly and they will be stronger too. Keep doing this until your intellegence is very high (mine ended up as 13 million lol) and then you can create amazingly (cheesy) potions and enchant your own items without fail. this is very cheesy and i dont suggest doing it lol.

i'm on xbox, and my game is jus fine... wait then again... well ther is this freezing problem i hav it occurs like every once in a wile... not every hour more like every 20 hours or so i play.. it freezes when ever u activate a service or read a book... when ever u open a book (or any of the listed above) it jus makes a weird stoping noice and freezes but it isnt a mojor problem because it only happens to one of my characters, i think it's because of all the things i've accomplished or the things i've collected

Sean, are you having the problem with any other games? And does this happen in any particular place, or just generically, every hour? If the latter, it does in fact sound like an Xbox problem.

Mine usually screws up when im loading, opening doors and loading exteriors really scares me now

that might work ive left it for a couple days now(ive been playing THPS Underground since)

almost the exact same as my case....(but my character is so strong....so i wont get rid of him)

mine is the same for the freezing and stopping noise, but it happens mainly when i go to kill someone and we both pull our weapons out at the same time or when im jumping

I havent seen any other games mess up on my x box. this happens alot in balmora and ebonheart. now it is every 15minutes or so, it just keeps getting worse, it just started at 1 hour.
