Where on earth can I buy new arrows ?

The only arrows I have have mostly been found in the moathouse, and I been able to buy, maybe 40 from local traders.
But there doesn't seem to be anymore arrows for sale, and my supply is dwindling dangerously; one of my characters is an expert at the bow and I'd hate to see all that investment go to nothing should he miss arrows...

Don't fret, yves.

You should find PLENTY of them after the Moathouse. There are certain areas that will have you feeling more like you're finding too many of them!

Anyways, are you requesting the name of this area, or is that short paragraph enough for you? I don't mind spoiling, but if you want to find out for yourself, that's fine by me.

I have now entered an area where, indeed, I have found a lot and a lot of arrows. Probably still more coming ahead!

So, this issue is solved.

Still, I find that not being able to buy as many arrows as required is a bit strange, considering that it is possible to buy a lot of different weapons and even magical items... The area isn't that poor that nobody would produce arrows, especially with your party around beeing a huge market!

Hopefully, only one of my chars was using arrows, but at the rate of two per round. My main fighter has skipped missile weapons, and others rely on X-bows. I have no NPC. But if I had had a full fledged party, I'm pretty sure I'd been missing on arrows, which is a shame!

Excellent. Trust me, I have yet to have a party that has a single member that regularly uses bows, so I've found the amount of arrows I find to be REALLY excessive!

Yeah, I hear ya there. Perhaps Troika (the developer) thought that the amount you found on enemies is enough? They have wanted to stress the availability of different weapons.

Speaking of which, what type of bow are you using? If you are using a longbow with your archer, then you likely should have found a magical longbow by now. Still, if you're using the Circle of Eight (Co8) patches, you'd have found other enchantable masterwork ranged weapons earlier on.

Well, I don't believe I've really found and NPC other than Meleny who looted arrows, if that's what you're talking about. Almost none of the other NPCs really loot much in the way of equipment; they mainly take some gold and silver here and there.

No problem, man.

Actually, make SURE you save every arrow you can.. If you are making a dedicated archer type character, then you WILL go through them quickly.

For example, my I had my bard go heavy duty archer.. I.e. rapid shot, AND many shot. Most battles she uses up 20-40 arrows.....

I do wish there was some type of fletcher or something in hommlet, so that I could even purchase more If I did run out, or even magical arrows...

Didn't the carpenter just south of Black Jay carry normal arrows?

Will have to check it out.. Haven't been able to play at all this week!
