Bhaal dream help plz (spoilers)

I've been through all 3 games (baldurs gate I, II, and tob) multiple times but this time i decided to try something new and i soloed with a sorceress. well I got up to the asylum and now Bhall won t follow me in by imoen so i am stuck in that wretched dream. what do i do?

Try and attack him, cast a spell at him and maybe he will follow you then!

Is he not following you at all? Or just not into the Keep? If it's the later, he's probably just too far away. Try and make sure he's right on your tail when you enter the keep, and then he should follow.
