I am so hungry (Ramadhan is here)

Well its 11:20 here in Geneva and i am hungry. Its ramadhan now well today is the first day so 30 more days of fasting for roughly 10 hours. Plus as i am solo i dont get up before sunrise so i basically have dinner and sleep and have dinner the next day. Thus i am hungry. Also as I have to be pious this one month out of the entire year, no curse, discussing sexual issues you get the idea. Its gonna be one tough month.
Plus i am extremely bored at work. So anybody wanna spam?

Good ol' Denmark is gray. Really gray.
It's as if someone has taken a photo and has then proceeded to desaturate it. Looking out my window there is not one bright color.
Actually, I kind of like it.

Gray and dull eh? Sounds liek geneva. Its been raining a slight drizzel for a godo 3 days now. Finally got some work and thus the delayed response. Anyway me hungry any ideas how not to feel hunger pangs? And no i cant drink or eat anything until 7 pm.

Friday is "Pizza day" at work, so we all eat pizza for lunch ... so now I'm so full, I couldn't eat another bite .... *yummy*

I am also hungry, I have no time for lunch until after 4 pm today...running experiments, supervising a student, having a meeting with my statistics consultaltant.
Good for you it's ramadhan, you said you were getting fat anyway

yeah i am getting fat but this will be a great time to lose it. Ton of people lose weight this month. Thanks you two and your lunch ideas. The best part of ramadhan? 6 hour working days!
9 to 3. I usually get in at 10
So even better. Gaming will keep my mind off food when i get home.
Just checked the timings it isnt 10 hours, it is 13 hours. Good god.

What's the ramadhan all about? Besides the fasting, I mean. Why do you have to fast? Are you allowed to eat only once a day? No drinks, either? And for how long?
Guys, it's really not nice to talk about pizzas when he's so hungry
Look on the bright side of it, CM. You'll loose some weight, that will give you (even) more self-confidence. And it will strengthen your will, too. I suppose it's not the first time you do this, is it?

No eating or drinking anything between sunrise and sunset.Afterwards you can eat. But no gluttony. Also no cursing, no sexual intercourse. No sinful actions whatsoever. I cant even crack a sexual joke. Oh yeah praying 5 times a day every day.
I have enough self-confidence it borders on arrogance
That is not an issue, the issue is my family has a history of diseases linked to overweight.

Well, my other suggestion would be to watch a round of political ads, but that would run the risk of causing temporary insanity, so the Weasel suggestion was better, IMO.

Political ads...hmm yeah the weasel thing sounds better or wait i can home early and game?
Its for 1 month. 30 days. On the 31st day is Eid-ul-Fitr. Consider it christmas. We have a huge dinner were 100s of people go to each others houses and have food and stuff. Its a celebration to end the fastging.

Oh, man...
I'm sure I wouldn't be able not to eat anything all day. I'd surely faint. And I wouldn't be able to get up before surise for breakfast, either... Tough thing, ramadhan.
So what's the purpose of this all? A reminder of an event, or are you preaparing for something (the celebration you mentioned)? So you don't celebrate Christmas at all?
