Safe Item Storage

Gidday all,

Since my group are carrying a few special items (Golden Pantaloons, Pommel of the Equaliser, etc) I was wondering if it is safe to place them in a house I have taken over in the Promenade (well, Cernd's house actually). The items are in the bookcases & barrel, sorted by importance.

They'll still be there once I come back from the Underdark, yeah?

Cheers all,
TGHO

Item storage

The only risk you ever have is with a few areas... Namely Boddie's Dungeon, the Shadow Thief Guild, and the differing strongholds. They actually have different area files for guildleader/non-guild leader, and allied/opposed choices.

Just make sure you keep them in the containers and they’ll be safe. The only problem is when you leave something on the ground because it will disappear after a while.

Just for clarification, this isn't the case in most areas. I've left items lying strewn throughout the drydocked ship used by the slaver band. (It's my favorite "home" unless I play a mage, and take the Planar Sphere.) I've never lost a single item; but you're right: it's better to play safe. It's also easier to separate and find items by type, that way.

Aye, thanks all. That was my impression, I just wanted confirmation!

@fable
I tend to occupy a house or place with several containers about - Cernd's place is excellent, as it has two bookcases, a sack, a barrel and a box - and sort items by type into the different containers.

Cheers everyone,
