Alright, so I'm on the lighthouse in Seyda Neen waiting for Fargoth to give away his hidey-hole, and posts here say he'll move between 9 and 10 PM. Okay...how can I tell what time it is in the game? I may be under-documented here--my version of the game came bundled with a video card, so I have NO documentation....
Thanks.

'And Another thing...

Can I sleep just anywhere, or do I need a bed? if so, how do I do it?

Thanks again!

You don't; you approximate. However, if you're running the PC version, you can download from several websites (such as Morrowind Summit) any of several timepiece mods which allow you to instantly know what time of day it is.

Can I sleep just anywhere, or do I need a bed? if so, how do I do it?

Your manual should have all the key allocations listed, and all this basic information.

Thank you for the pc help fable. For x-box.

Press the blask button to rest, you dont need a bed for resting.

It will say what hour it is when you press the black button to sleep.

And remember, this is for x-box version

I beg to differ :p . You can't rest jus anywhere, you have to be in a bed, bed roll, hammock, etc., or the wild. You can't rest in public places, it's illegal, but you can wait as long as you want :D

Same difference. You can only level up in beds or wilderness. You can waste time anywhere

On pc, you press 't' as if you want to rest. In a pop-up you can see the date and what time it is.

You can also rest in any of the guild halls of which you are a member and sometimes in an empty bedroom of a home or inn without paying if you get in and close the door before someone sees you...it can be fun playing Goldilocks :D
