Turning Undead

I'm debating a restart into Cleric/Thief... Currently I'm a Undead Hunter...

The thing I'm wondering is the the turning undead ability... Do Clerics and Paladins share the same table? My current paladin seems to have less "punch" than I remember from Anomen... My memory may be fuzzy though...

Thanks

Paladins turn undead as per a Cleric two levels lower than their current level. So a 10th level Paladin turns undead as an 8th level Cleric.

Remember that as a multiclass cleric your turn undead will be less effective than that of a paladin with the same amount of xp... the only drawback to the cleric/thief hehe.

as a single class, the paladin levels up much more slowly than the cleric, so the turn undead difference is significant. i'm not sure what it's like for a multiclass though.
