Anyone up for a multiplayer adventure? A party of three or four maybe?

I may be . . . what level are your guys and what time do you wanna play?
I have a fighter/thief and a berserker both level 9 or I can make new guys

Yeah I would be up for it.
I've never done multiplayer before.
Would we be using mods or anything (how do they work online?)
Would it be 1 or 2 characters each?
When/how often do you play. (I haven't got much of a timetable regarding pc use, as long as its not happening between 02:00 - 15:00 mosting between these times I can use the pc, although as I said its not constant)

Well I was thinking of starting from scratch in Irenices dungeon. What do you guys think? I live in Sweden so for me between 18-22 is fine. But not this week though.
We would probably take it slow and probably not want to have more than three or four in the party(unless someones controls more than one character). Otherwise we might not find times to play.

Sounds good.
Got any idea's on who you would like to play?
I was thinking about a blade, or trying out some combination thats new to me. Cleric/Thief maybe. I dunno something new to me.

I guess it depends a little bit on how many characters we bring along. Would be pretty cool with three multiclasses perhaps.
You cleric/thief
me mage/thief
Danoxner fighter/thief
a stealth group!

if you still have space, I'd also like to try.
I live in Germany, same timezone as you, evenings would be ok for me.
As for class, I'd like an archer (probably dual class to something later?), Fighter/Cleric (multi or Anomen-like), some kind of druid, or probably monk or bard.
If me0w plays a blade, and Bruce an M/T, I'll probably go with archer(13+)->cleric.
About mods, I have no idea how that works :/
Could be a problem if we all have to install the same, since it would screw up existing games...does anyone know about that? Or maybe only the host needs the mods we play?
edit: just remembered that clerics can't use bows
I'd have to think about the class some more, probably archer->thief, archer->mage (using the fighter kit from tactics) or a plain archer.

If you want to do a multiplayer game with mods, all of you need to have installed the mods, even in the same installation order. There's quite a bit of coordination required

Also, can we SK it up?
It would be nice to play like a swashbuckler cleric (if thats what I chose) or a thief dualed (at levl6) to blade (traps+stealth - or detect illusions would be usefull) - (hmm, bards can't be dual or multi'd that sucks.)
So now we got all 4 members, just need to get all on MSN or something some time.
Also guys, if you wanna mod, the ones I'm using are on the thread "1-2 days waiting time" (or something like that) I also added in Wiemer item upgrade before installing Kelsey.

I'd say moderate use of SK, like setting the starting attributes (to reasonable values) and probably kits on multi-class if you guys want to. I don't want uber chars or something, though.
about mods and installation, here's my suggestion:
- official patch (with 26499 beta)
- baldurdash fixpack (v112)
- Ease-of-Use (v28, with a few exceptions)
- Item-Upgrade (v32)
- Tactics (v21, except Ilyich, Always Toughest Spawns and probably Imp. Mindflayers?)
- Unfinished Business (v13)
Currently, I have those plus Valen, Solaufein and Blucher's thief guild, but basically I'd play whatever you want
ICQ is 123968343, MSN thrarxxAThotmail.com, Skype thrarxx.
I strongly recommend Skype for communication while playing, typing all the time gets really annoying imo.

Yeah, I agree, I meant moderate use, just letting us play things like swashbucklers/cleric or soemthing along those lines, makes it a little more fun and I guess if you want a little stat modification, save some rolling time.

- Can you install 2 copies of BG? because I don't wanna re-install BG after taking so long to do it, also I'm still playing through BG2 at the moment.
Also, can we play with Illyich, he isn't too hard, its good exp and do able, just use a fair few traps and maybe a bit of rest, its worth doing.

Archer cant dual with ToB. Swashbuckler/cleric doesn't need SK. I would prefer no SK on core rules myself. My game isn't modded so far but we can agree on something I am sure. I am no fan of the item upgrade though. I like ascension, haven't tried Illiych but that might be fun.

Archer cant dual with ToB - it can, just checked it out. Maybe using the Ranger kit you can't, but with Generic Archer your all good.
Also you need SK to make a multi cleric/swash (which is what I was thinking of)
If you really want, we don't need to use SK, but it would be nice for mutli classing.
I don't think item upgrade would really ruin the game, it just gives a few nice possibilities, we can use our discretion with over powered items.
But anyway, its best if we get on MSN or something to discuss this all.

I take it we wont be bringing equiptment with us......
Also, it might be a good idea to add yoshimo at the beginning because he gets more xp for traps and is good with a bow. What do you guys think? He gets 900 for a lock and 2175 for a trap. . . roughly double compared to a lower level theif (like my character)
P.S. My MSN is
awarren_@hotmail.com You can add me if you want a fighter/theif or a gnomish berserker

i can ofcourse only speak for myself but whenever I have tampered with classes in SK I have never finished the game so I would prefer regular classes. You are right about generic archer being able to dual.
I have added you to my msn

Well we wanna start a'fresh, I hope ye mean a new Gnomish Berserker or Fighter/thief. (go with the fighter thief)
Also, I really don't think its worth getting Yoshi for a few K more exp, in the end having an extra team mate lowers your damn exp share overall, so the extra exp just doesn't really do anything. + Yoshi is a big trechurous tramp!

Yes......he is a big traitor, but we can dump him long before that. But it doesn't matter to me, anyway I wanna bring one of my guys since they are only one or two levels ahead and I am afterall looking to gain experience with them. Plus without Minsc we need a tank. PLUS, my fighter/theif wears only leather so things are gonna be rough anyways
