Wizards (spoiler)

I was wondering if anyone knew the little in game advantages of the wizard classes because I seem to remember that a transmuter could make a special potion in the lab which the others can't. Also i think the diviner could get a bit more xp out of the ill diviner in the war tent.

What war tent do you mean? The "hospital", back in Targos?
I don't really know about that, I played with a simple mage and she only got the letter and some info on how to fight different monsters... Hopefully someone else will come up with a better idea :rolleyes: :)

Hey, I think I know what you mean now.

I entered the drider camp in Underdark, and there was a mage in a lab. I found some instructions on how to use the lab, and indeed, only a transmuter with high alchemy skills could concoct a potion essential to defeating the device that turns the drow into driders! None of my other characters could do this, only my mage got as far as creating a healing potion.

I guess the thing can be killed without the potion, though, it's just easier to use it.

Yes you get extra XP if you talk to that sick diviner in that tent.. i had Illusionist.. there were some new dialogue options..

But as for alchemy thing.. could be possible.. i rarely use wizards...

I was fairly sure that the transmuter could create a potion using the wyrm egg as well

any class with enough high Alchemy skill can do those..
