Hi everyone

I could really use some help here! The day before yesterday our pc crashed and we had to format everything. I reinstalled NWN again, but something went terribly wrong. After I installed both expansions, the game constantly asked for the HOTU cd, wich was still in the drive. I can't play, not even NWN itself. I then wanted to uninstall NWN via Configuration ( don't know if that's the right word in English, in Dutch it is : Configuratiescherm ) and then software and I saw that NWN's size was shrinked to 1.82mb!! That can't be right...
Well, I uninstalled everyting, reinstalled NWN again and so far it works. But I want to play SOU! Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? I played SOU before on this pc.

Thanks

First: don't worry about the fact that NWN is listed as being only a few MB big in the software list. That's nothing unusual.
Windows has a rather... *chuckle*... creative... way of calculating that value, which isn't really bound to the actual size of the program folder. To give you a comparison: in my case it says something about "1,09MB" while my actual fodler is several Gigs large. Nothing special. Praised be Gates.

Second, did you already patch it to the latest version? That's always worth a try. If that doesnt work... hmmm, something probably screwed up your registry entries. I'd try reinstalling the whole thing a last time, but this time in a different folder (in a weak attempt to avoid the old registry settings) and to install HotU before installing SoU... if that is possible, since actually I never tried that. =/

Can't think of much else right now...

Well, I installed SOU and HOTU again and again it didn't work, uninstalled the whole bunch, installed just NWN, started playing, wich worked, installed SOU, but heard 3 bleeps ( the sounds you get when something is going wrong in windows *S*) and again it didn't work. I don't know where those 3 bleeps came from, cause there were no messages on the screen...
But I'm downloading the latest patches and when they are completed, I will try installing everything again.
By the way, those different folders didn't work out either :)
