Hi everyone,

I've been playing Beyond Divinity for a while now and am currently wandering through Act II. Now, something strange has happened, I went to the battlefield and tried to level up a wee bit. After returning from the battlefield the quest log did not updated itself to the quests relevant in Act II. I still have the relevant quests for the battlefield active in my quest log, i.e. none of the Act II quests will work as I don't have the corresponding quest log. I'm working on the alchemist quest just now and the alchemist is not even there anymore.

Has anyone encountered this problem already and found a solution to this? What can I do to reset the quest log or restore the quests I've already begun?

This was a problem before the last patch, as I recall. Did you get that from the developers' website?

Indeed I did, I've installed patch 1.45 and this problem occurred. So I suppose I'll have to wait for patch version 1.46 or whatever they might number it

Try checking their tech support forum. I think they may have stopped issuing patches.

alchemist quest

Thanks for the help in getting into the battlefields.
Now to the next problem.
Got the quest to go see the alchemist. He gives me the list of herbs he needs to cure the imps. I get the first two and find my way to the wall with gate. Kill me a bunch of those demons and things but no cut scene???
Found a cavern where there is no way to get in. Found the meteor piece, found the teleport to some gems. No cut scene no rocks to move.

Solved the problem by starting the quest over. Walked right to everything first time. Don't know what happened the first time.
