Jaheira LoveTalk Stuck

I'm having trouble getting Jaheira to continue the romance. LoveTalk shows 52 under CLUAConsole. I thought I'd reset the LoveTalk variable, but every time I try [SetGlobal("LoveTalk","LOCALS",XX) where XX = 54 or any other number] I check it and it shows 52 again!
Am I doing something wrong?

Have you tried killing her?

Well, she's died a couple of times in different battles, but I don't save those games. I've never turned on her and deliberately tried to kill her though.

I don’t remember the variables names, but the Jaheria Romance might be not on. If that’s the case then the love talk will not advance. I usually use Shadowkeeper to change my romance variables. It’s probably something like JAHROMAN or something similar. Anyway it has 3 variables: 1=flirting, 2=dating, 3=romance dead. If it’s set at 3 just change it back to 2 and your love talk should continue. That would be my guess as to your problem.
In the game I have going now I had to change Jaheria’s romance variable back to 2, somehow it got to 3 even though I don’t remember letting her die, dismissing her or telling her to kiss off. Weird stuff happens with many mods.
Also if you have an unpatched version of BG2 then you have to use Shadowkeeper to get the Jaheria romance to work.
EDIT: It's JAHEIRAROMANCEACTIVE make sure it equals 2

The JaheiraRomanceActive value had been at 1; according to the romance guide it would have changed to 2 after LoveTalk 53 or 55. So I went ahead and changed it to 2. I was still getting the same LT script (51). I hadn't been able to force the change in LT to 54, so I did as someone else had suggested in another post and tried incrementing the value until the change took. I was able to set the value to 58 and have it stick.
At this point I'm waiting for the next LT script to crop up and doing a lot of resting. I'm kind of disappointed that I hit this glitch. This is the second time I've tried going through the game specifically to see how the romance works, and it's the second time I've hit a wall on it. The first time was with the Anomen romance.
Thanks much for your help. If you think of anything else, please let me know! I'll try pretty much anything at this point!
