I'm on the quest (HoTU) after getting the puzzle ring (Chapter 3) and i followed the arrows on the floor to this stral door i think the point on the map said Planar Gate but for some reason there these two boulder like blocking my way. i tried to transform into the golem, fairy, and wolf but couldnt get pass it. Can someone help me out? i'm i missing something? thx

Ummm, I'd like to help you, but I don't know where exactly in the game you are... and it's hard to ask without spoiling, so maybe tell a bit more how deeply you have ventured into the frozen wastes so far.

Are you in a cave? Did you just have a tough fight with...uhhh.. several "named" enemies? Is that blocked door one of those huge "beast-skull"-shaped cave entrances? If so, then try looking around in the cave a bit, there is another small door int there... that finally leads to a lever that raises the ward on that door...

Or are you in the open? Do you have the "demonic grappling hand" yet? If so, try looking for a spot where you can circumvent that blockade by grappling...

i'm in the cave that right after i discover that i can shape shift (golem, fairy, and wolf). The cave entrance was one that i have to shape shift into a golem to bash the ice blocks that blocking the entrace. Once entered i fight some of those tree looking like creatures, trend i think. Then exploring a bit i saw a pack of wolf, it said worg nest or something on the map, killed them all. then there was a little ice block that blocking the way w/ a little hole in the middle. I shape shifted into a wolf and went throught the hole but doesnt seem like there's any thing to do there. The only othere way in this cave is the planar gate point on the map but in front of it there is two rock boulders blocking it. This is where i'm stuck. i couldnt figured out how to pass the rocks. Hope this is better details.

Hmmm.. are you sure that you are looking at the right gate?
I.e., is it the one that is marked as "3" on this map here? :::MAP:::

Note, you will once again have to put on the Seeker's Ring to make the door appear (and not only the door, also arrows pointing to it).
From now on, I'd keep the ring on a quickslot if I was you... you will need it several times in the future now, actually it will lead you onward for quite a long time.

Oh... and get ready for a nasty dose of hate when you enter that door there... if you're clever, you will put on some unimportant replacement clothing and NOT your main armor... *whistles innocently*

How to get past the boulders

I know where you are. Turn back into the Golem, and check out the boulders. The Golem can bust 'em up.

To get on you have to enter the Mimic's Lair, where the Mimic will steal your clothing when you enter. You need his Demonic Grappling Hansd to go on. When you are out of the cave use the Hand to grab the torch on the other side of the Canyon. Use the Cloak you found on the Worg Pack Leader to summon your companions on the other side. I hope this helps
