Hi y'all...

Just need a little help with Watcher's Keep Level 4 (Mad Machine Level), if possible.

I hav esearched entire level (that I can get to right now) and have blue and red oil, but can't light torches as first level took my flint...any clues on how to proceed would be great!

You can find another one on this level. I think it is in the Githyanki encampement room.

THe first room you enter, in one of the chests.

Hey Whats up, I am also on that lvl. Here is another one. There is a Purple oil in the level too. It is in the room in the other room.Opposite the one with the torches. Yea and the flint is in the Githiankiy encampent. Hope that helps.

The purple oil is in a cauldron in the illithid camp, the door is on the north wall of the machine room.

Everyone, thanks for your help. I was stupid and didn't find the door south of the mad machine (the unexplored fog covered it in a very straight line) but now the problem is the last seal before releasing the forbidden one. That hive mother and everyon else just rips through me!

here is how you beat the hive mother thing.

Ok when I first did that I was surprised and they ripped me to shreds. Now I will tell you how you can take them out with only having 2 tanks.
My party was this. Me (Berserker)Dual wield Foebane+5/Answer+4
Sarevok Psion Blade +5 (that's all you need)
Now make sure to summon Plenetar/Deva and a Greater Elemental Summoning.
If you do summon Deva make sure to haste her.And memorize some Resurection spells with the cleric. ( You dont need to do that if you summoned a planetar)
Now haste your whole party, protection from fear, put death ward and chaotic commands on your tanks. And move your cleric out of the battle field.
Now put your two tanks where the hive mother will appear.
Planeta/Diva where the red nymph looking thing appears
Elemental Prince where the archer appears

When they appear make sure to hit Greater Whirlwind/Whirlwind on your tanks and take out that beholder quickly.
Then turn around and beat the livin sh*t out of the armorless kensai.
Then turn your attention to the six armed freak and beat IT down.
Afterwards help the planetar/deva to take out the nymph thing (It level drains, and your planetar/deva should keep the busy while you pummel it.)
Then run over and kill the cleric, and then help your elemental prince to take out the archer.
Note that the Beholder must die first unless you want it to open up a volley of whoopass spells.
Hope this helps. This is how I beat them at least. Tell me if that works
