I just wondered how many female users there are on this forum. I think there are more females than I'd expected. (I hardly know girls who are interested in computer games)

I'm male.

There are girls who play PC games, my girlfriend for example.
She has this Sims2 addiction, and she cant play at her own house (lousy PC there) so when she comes to my house, she imidiatly starts playing.

I'm guessing DW did, perhaps she doesn't want to admit it yet. Either that, or I'm just waaaaaay off track. :p

Actually I only just saw this thread. At first I thought Arno was asking advice on whether to have a boy or a girl when he procreates :p

If you can't figure out which gender I am, does it make any difference on here? :)

Funny how a person with the username "Dragon Wench" wouldn't want people to know that she's female. :)

Lol, I think I can't have a choice in that way. Maybe there will be in the future, with genetic engineering.

Arno, if you look in this photo thread, you will see there are both male and female users here at SYM.

That's not really what I meant. While posting, the only female I saw online was DW. So I suggested, as a joke, that she might not want to say she was a female in this thread. I probably should've explained myself better. :)

If you know me, or if you have read any of my posts, you would know i am a boy. You can infer I'm a male by the way I speak (in most replies anyway :p )

Interesting... 5 out of 22 voters are female... Interesting, but not surprising.

I'm female.

I hope that tired line was meant as a joke, because otherwise, it reflects more on you than it does on women. ;)

I am a boy, although I have to say that 'are you a boy or a girl?' is one of the questions asked of me most frequently by strangers, so this thread is mildly traumatic to me.

ROFLMAO, I have to refer to VonDondu: If you can't figure out which gender people are, what difference does it make then?

Also, I don't know how old you are, but the answer to "why women are so confusing" is "because humans are confusing to other humans and sometimes to themselves, and if you don't realise women and men are the basically the same and believe women are something different than yourself, you will never understand human nature, male or female". I'm sorry if I sound rude, I don't mean to offend you in anyway, but the topic females in gaming, females on this board, differences between males and females and worst of all: the gender stereotype that men and women are different from each other in some significant respect save anatomy, has been extensively discussed many times, and if you were not joking, I refer to the most recent discussion:

truthfully, at my age of 17 i have a great understanding of women (a God given gift, i'm assuming). but when i asked the question, i was speaking for all of the males here who have wondered the same question and just didn't want to look stupid in front of anyone. i know there are many of them out there who won't admit it. :p

you havn't, i don't get offended easily. :D

and, yes, it was a joke ;)
Bah! Typical woman response. Why don't you get back in the kitchen and bake a pie or something? :p :D
agreed :D ;) :p
