Spoilers thead, beware
Where can I upgrade the silver horn of Valhalla?? I think it is in the bridge district? Is there supposed to be a bronze horn of Valhalla??
I don't know if I used up this part or not yet, Is it just conversation that lets you buy Ribalds special goods at the adventures mart in the Prominade?
I don't remember seeing the Helm of Brillance and If I did buy it I can't find it??
Strickly trivial, because I did clue it in with cheat consul. What are some of his other special goods, because I think I bought them all but just lost the helm??
Thanks

The weapons smith is in waukeens promendae, he is marked on the map.The weaponsmith here can upgrade it for you. For 2000 gp and a diamond he will upgrade it to a Bronze Horn of Valhalla, and for an additional 5000 gp and a Beljuril he will upgrade it to an Iron Horn of Valhalla.
Ribalds privat stash can only be accsed by conversation after you return from the Underdark. As for what he has there i can't remeber, but i'm positive he had the helm o brilliance.
Hope this answered your questions, not sure i understood all your questions

Thanks Julian, that was helpfull especially the part about Ribald, i had not yet gone to the UnderDark. And I thought the bronze horn preseeded the silver but was left out. Thank again

What exactly would you need them for that early?

I want to use them for proof against Kagaxx the Demi-litch

Aha - thought that might be it.
I never fought Kangaxx until I got back and even then he was so ridiculously cheaty I used cheese tactics on him - din't need freedoms scrolls. I'm not actually sure where you would get them because most high-level spells like that have to be found in specific places rather than bought. I know there's one at the gnome store in the Underdark that you have to use to free the imprisoned mage, but I'm sorry no others come to mind at the moment.

Freedom
You can't... The earliest is in the Underdark...
Don't get imprisoned...
Spell Immunity: Adjuration

That's the reason I was complaining about Kangaxx - that sort of thing doesn't work on him. I sent Minsc Beserk which is supposed to make him immune - imprisoned the same. As far as I'm concerned any monster who can cast Imprisonment an infinite number of times, at a range greater than zero, and in a way which cannot be protected from, is ridiculous, which is why I cheesed him.

IIRC ribald has an unlimited supply of freedom scrolls after you return from underdark...

Yeah, attacking Kangaxx before you get back from the Underdark is generally a bad idea.

Hmm
The Spell Immunity trick worked for me... Are you sure you selected the right type?
But you're right about Kangaxx being cheesy...

Just grab a "protection from undead" from Ribald and hook yourself up with a +4/+5 weapon and hack him apart. This way you can do it way before Underdark. You can also use the "Ring of the Ram" (if you pickpocket it from Tolgerias before you confront him you have two and can use both here) to make additional damage. If you don't have a +4/+5 weapon then just use the prot. from undead + traps and Ring of the Ram x2.

scroll of Protection from Magic does the trick. There are very few of them in the game, but Ribald has one. Cast it on your fighter and hide rest of party, kangaxx cant deal you any damage

it should be noted, the helm of brilliance does nothing against Kangaxx's demi form (or at least it didn't last time I played -- between the helm, daystar, a high-level cleric, and a simulacrum of the same cleric, I had about 6 sunrays to play with, and never managed to hurt him with them.)

Minsc's Berserk is not the same thing as a Berserker's Enrage ... I know for a fact that Enrage will protect you against imprisonment (just had Kangaxx cast it like 20 times at my berserker with no effect).

With the right use of your spells you can turn most situations into child's play.
I tend to like to fight Kangaxx around the time I get level 12 mages.
~
For Kangaxx I use two mages with the spells "Melf's Minute Meteors" and "Spell Immunity" memorised as much as possible. Once you've reduced Kangaxx to his Demi form knock him across the room with a "Ring of Ram" and cast "Spell Immunity: Abjuration", now cast "Melf's Minute Meteors" and any spells that improve THACO or rolls. Now you go across the room and start hitting Kangaxx with the Meteors until he dies. The trick to remember is to recast "Spell Immunity" every 2-3 times you've cast "Melf's Meteors"
This is a good trick to get the very powerful "Ring of Gaxx" early without the need for insanely powerful items and risky hide-behind-the-mage-hit-tactics.
For his Lich form counter with a higher level Summon Undead (Magic Skeletons - the ones with Two handed swords).
Using protection from magic and undead scrolls have similar effects. With Magic it makes you immune to his Imprisonment, while protection from undead apparently makes him ignore you completely while you tap dance on his forehead.
One thing of note is that if you're using summoned creatures immediately retreat them away so they don't get imprisoned, if they do they will permanantly count towards your summon limit. So if three "Invisible Stalkers" get imprisoned then you will only be able to summon two monsters until the others are freed, even if their spell duration should have run out.
Another note is to cast Pixie Dust on your party and stick them in a corner out of the way while Kangaxx is in Demi form, I can't remember if this actually helps because Kangaxx might have the ability to see invisible but it's piece of mind.

This is what I call an Irish Tread bump!
I am looking for the Versus Dragon Head Of Destruction
Location: Only place to find this idol is defeat the entire staff of the versus books strategy guide
Idol summons forth Craghackdor'izlsnizzt, the red dragon to end all red dragons. Not only can he jump through hoops, and waterski slalom, but his overwhelming "stink powers" shall end everyone and everything in his path.
Could this be a versus book hoax or joke or private pet or something
