Fate of the star forge?

Is the star forge destroyed at the end of the game? please tell me what happens for each path you choose.
SPOILERS
welll....in light side the republic destroyed the star forge's gravitational stabilizer thingy and the station goes tumbling into the unknown planet.
in dark side, the sith fleet kicked the rupublic's assand they gather more ships (using the star forge) and heads towards the core worlds, wad happens next, i dunno
