HELP!!! I need help about Aribeth's ring!

I got Aribeth's ring but when I step into Luskan it dissappears. I've repeated 3 times and tried wearing it going in and I still dissappears. Can somebody tell me whats going on?

Wait a second... Luskan is Chapter3.
And you aren't even supposed to have that ring until well into Chapter4?
Are you sure it is really Aribeths ring that we're talking about here? Isn't it rather the one you get from Aarin Gend to show to the Luskan gate guards so they let you into Luskan in the first place? Since it'd be no wonder if that one disappears once your in the city...

Luskan is chapter 2 And you do infact get Aribeths ring prior to entering Luskan. (If you follow that convesation with her)
Why it dissapers I do not know - but if it is indeed her ring that dissapres (and not another as suggested above) then it sounds as a bug.
Is your game patched fully?

Uh?...well...
I don't know. if it is the problem how do i acquire and install the patch? You think my game will get to keep Aribeth's ring then?

Uh..Wait...
Before the other thread I have been thru all the quests and substories before going to Luskan. I went thru the entire routine to get Aribeth's ring so yes I did get the ring. But when I step into Luskan the ring disappears from my inventory, from my own finger to be precise.

There is an update button on the main menu of NwN when you start the game.
And it is possible that loosing Artibeths ring is a bug that is fixed in some patch.

Is there a way to change your PC's gender? I've been using a female PC and am currently in chapeter 2, but I would like to avoid having to make a really hard DC persuade to convince Aribeth to have her surrender.
