hey, i am playing the game through again, although this time as a good alinged monk, and i was wondering which would be party for me.
Also if there is anyone out there who has played with a monk, have you noticed the amount of weapons that r not used and what did u do with them
Thanx.

I'm playing through the game as a monk right now and weapons really don't matter. Get the gauntlets of crushing and a girdle of giant strengh and you'll be doing monsterous damage. My highest critical hit brought 72 damage. That's not including the one hit kill of the quivering palm.

Nothing like taking out a dragon with one hit. :)

as a monk, IMO, you need only one tank (Keldorn or Minsc) and plenty of spellcasters of different kinds. I see Jahera (as a light tank, and her fire elementals or insects hardly can be overvalued), Aerie, Nalia and Jan (picking up Yoshimo at going to Spellhood and getting Iomen here). It depends on style, though.

I hate having a monk in my party as I hate having just one of my party wearing Boots of Speed! The char with the boots runs into a few Umber Hulks and gets smashed because the party is slower than him, same thing with monk and barbarian...

My barbarian does not get smashed by a few umber hulks...it is the other way around.
I had a monk plus keldorn which was good combination of tanks.

You have the right name taken, i see. Why in hell you do not care about the first commandment of any warfare : "Scout!" ?
