Hi,

At the moment I’m playing as a Toreador. I chose this clan because it’s the best for a ranged character. (And because Celerity is the most fun and versatile skill )

However, I doubt I will play the game again after finishing it so I would like to explore some of the other things in the game with my current char.

I had the Malkavians in mind, I love their way of speech and font type.

1) I’ve read that it is possible to change a character to another race mid-game somewhere...
How exactly is this done?
And are there any problems involved?

Do I lose my stats etc…? If so, how to regain? Do I get a completely different set of clan specific skills or do I keep the old ones?
If possible I would like that nothing changes besides my clan type and thus the funny voices in my head.
Please tell me how to do this.

Mostly you can. Bring up your console, then type vclans player_malkavien then hit enter. Whamo, you can stop being angry cause HEY! The voices now talk to you too.

But yes, you do loose basically everything on the char sheet, so you'll need to do the giftxp ## cheat to buy it back.

No clue if this breaks any of the storyline though. As always, use at your own risk.

Seems to do something. But my special vamp skills are gone, and no others to spend points in. Plus I'm not a character anymore but some kind of weird signs.

Anyone?

Has to be vclans Player_mal(however the heck you spell it) If you don't put the Player_ there, it does wierd things.

Could be vclan Player_mal.... either way, I know it works cause I started my current game as a Tremere and switched to Malk.

I don't get to keep my old skills and have Malkavian special skills now but they are not too shabby either.
Is there however a possibilty to change those skills to whatever ones you like?
