I'm new to this game and haven't seen this problem posted anywhere. Here is the problem. As I leave the Den for Vault City I travel a few squares and come across a couple being confronted by alien looking creatures. The creatures proceed to kill the couple and then the game crashes. In other scenarios along the same path there isn't a problem. I can't seem to progress any further without the game crashing. The only error message I receive is that there is a program error in Fallout 2 and the game has to be restarted. I'm using Windows 2000 and both the graphics card and memory should be adequate. Any ideas?

Do you play with the patch?

Also windows 2000 have been found to cause games to crash quite often, you might want to install windows XP
