Has anybody else experienced a Masquerade Violation when walking through Hollywood and a strange girl starts blabbing things about thinking you were lost and "We hoped you were allright".

She then proceeds to make a phone call and WHAM! Masquerade Violation.

I've never talked to her or what ever, do I know her from my pre-awakening?

Anyhow, killing her is a Humanity breach, so I tranced her, and that seemed to do the trick. But still weird.

She knows you from the times when you were still alive.
But it seems you suffered a black out after you were turned into a vampire.
Never run across her after that episode again.

There are four ways i know to handle the situation:
1. Let her do the call -> Masquerade Violation
2. Kill her -> Hummanity loss
3. Suck some , but not all of her blood. This makes her stand still and keeps
her from making the call. I dunno if it just prospones the call or stopps it alltogether.
4. Go through the sewers and avoid her entirely.

For the record, i did option 1. There are so many Masquerade redemptions in this game, that i can affort a hit. Killing her was beneth me and the other two option are kinda cheesy.

I spoke with here, but never got a violation, i cant remember how i did it, but there has to be an option to avoid getting a violation.

(It could be i used dominate while speaking with her as a Ventrue)

- best response for this girl i thought was when playing a Malkavian .. you tell her that your her pet turtle Shelly (i think) .. she babbles on about how she thought you were dead and thats why she flushed you down the toilet .. no i was just sleeping you can tell her.. (this realies on the Malkavaian Discipline used in dialogue though)

I just told her I didn't know who she was and she said something about "you must have amnesia" and she said something about hoping I remember soon or get better or something like that. Never got a violation though. Never seen her again either.

if you deny you're the person she says you are enough, and tell her she's crazy, you're not whoever, blah blah blah, she eventually gives up and starts crying. if you convince her that you're not her former friend, i believe you get a masquerade redemption point as well.

I just hauled buggy away from her while she was on the phone and got no penalty. She was gone when I came back.

Dominate does in fact get her to forget about you.
