i m in the "electricity test" room , what am i supposed to do to get the door to open ?

I just shot at the two electrical generators until they broke....

it makes it really easy (and less painful) if you stand on the door jam of the next door and do this, as you won't take any damage, and don't have to do the tedious jumping from platform to platform to avoid the shock therapy.

thx would never have though about such an obvious solution
