Dolls, do they have a use? + other questions

You can give em away, though I really don't understand any other use...??????

Does your wife/ husband give you gifts? How... Currently married to Lady Grey, had sex lots of times :p , gave many jewels and stuff, yet nothing....

Is there a way to get in the Tavern cellar in Bowerstone South? And if yes, what is there to find?

Is the Assasin quest an unending one, much like the archery test thingie in Knothole Glade?

And one more question, my summon, being a good aligned will user, now holds the soul of a minion, good one I'd say... My white balverine was quickly replaced by it.... Yet what is the most powerfull creature you can get with it? Because I tested, and trolls for instance, are seemingly not possible....

I bought a shop, and damn, I don't get a lot of currency from it, geez.... I can't even sell my stuff anymore...
Is there a way to get in the Tavern cellar in Bowerstone South? And if yes, what is there to find?
I can only help with this question.

I've been into the cellar once.
I *think* it was at night, so it was unlocked.
I don't know if time matters though - just keep trying.

It's full of old oak casks that are unbreakable and I think one chest (and maybe a shelf or two).
I can't remember, but it wasn't too great - I think there was an outfit or a gem in the chest, and maybe a tattoo or moustache or something...

Nothing too great at all...

info

Q1. wife giving gifts?
A1. yes, she will if she loves you
she loves you if you give her presents and talk/expression with her
never do any bad things or bad expressions near her, pisses her off
butter her up and then leave for a couple game days
the more she loves you the more expensive the gift
i gotten up to master axes and fire augment
lady grey is another story - she is VERY vain and unless you're attractive and not scary, she will ignore you

Q2. tavern cellar? loot?
A2. the staute in look out point says when; leather gloves, i think

Q3. unending assassin quest?
A3. unsure, first char it ended, 2nd char is did not
may have something to do with getting treasure early
note: if you want to end archery contest, kill him

Q4. minions?
A4. if minions are the big mechanical-like creatures (double bladed weapons/staff)doing the save archeaologist quest, then yes that the highest

Q5. shops?
A5. shops receive less rent percentage wise than houses do
shops .5-1% of total cost, houses 5% of total cost (just an example)

Q6. dolls?
A6. gat all dolls and trade in for "rare" job doll
technically the job doll is worth more than all or the dolls combined, BUT other than you wanting to help the underpriviledged kids there's no reason to collect them
note: if having problems doing the timed games, use slow time magic

something like that

Thnx bud!

One more question, is the alternative wife after the Lady Grey quest a worthy one?

You know, the one who keeps wining she'll never get a guy like yourself because she isn't rich, while she's giving advice on what to do...

Well actually the dolls are just something to collect after you have Thunder, Red Scarlets, Briar Rose, Maze, Twinblade, and Whisper hero dolls take them to the teacher in south bowerstone and he will give you a Jack of trades hero doll.

I still can't get there though, how do you get there again?

I tried it all, at night, going to Looking Point, lockpicking, nothing worked....

And oh yes, why doesn't any of my wives give me gifts?

They love me fully, are always happy, I shower them with gifts, I don't do anything nasty, I visit them often, and still nothing.....
I also have a constant 100 attractiveness.... weird  .

I thing it has to be around 10 at night, and the wives thing i think it probably depends on how much you've spent on them, maybe? I go to lady grey all the time with 7 gifts and about every other week i get another solus great sword (the only problem withthat is they don't accumulate), if you visit after quests it might help, oh and always manly arm amp and the like :D

more help

pop'n'fresh, you must not have all of them bc he will come to you and ask you to trade
the "you" doll does NOT count, you need 6 dolls
their locations are: twinblade camp, oakvale, hook's coast, knothole glade, b.south, arena or b.north

xanatan, i have no idea why your wives aren't in the giving spirit and it sounds like you have done everything right
AND
i think the cellar is open at dusk to midnight
the statue in lookout point tells you when the it's open bc selecting the statue says "the statue is pointing at bowerstone"
if you haven't noticed, the statue moves with the clock

see if this helps ;)
