After I returned to the surface from the underdark, I noticed some missing equipment, including artifact parts. Did I lose it when the mind flayers knocked me out and imprisoned me? Is it gone for good?

Do you have Kevin's patches installed to 'Nishru-proof' your items? If you're not familiar with the issue, as I understand it Nishru's are suppose to drain your memorized spells and charges from wands and the like, however it seems that normal items were set with a charge of 1, so it was possible that your plate mail of the gorgon +4 would be destroyed by a Nishruu. I believe I've got that right, feel free to correct me if I'm mistaken...if you don't have them, get the patches from baldurdash...

My 3rd time through I forgot to get the Gauntlets of Ogre power from the Planar Sphere, which of course meant no Crom Faeyr.
All I did was get the Clua console codes from [url="http://www.gamefaqs.com"]www.gamefaqs.com[/url] and created a pair to replace the ones I forgot to pick up.
Patches or Clua, either way I suppose?

A quicker way of getting the items is by using [url="http://www.mud-master.com/shadowkeeper/"]Shadow Keeper[/url]. I think that the problem was fixed in the bugfix at [url="http://members.home.com/mrkevvy/welcome.html"]Baldurdash[/url], install the fix, and then load the savegame before you exit. If you don't have a savegame for it, then just use Shadow Keeper to get your items back.

Off the top of my head, a couple of things I lost were the elven chain mail I picked up in Trademeet that my mage/thief was always wearing and the artifact string for the gesen bow.
