- i dunno if Gary has one of VV .. she gives you a signed autograph though

- one video is in the Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.. behind the main foyer
- another is in Carsons appartment .. in the locked chest (same block of appartments as Mercurio)

- i dont know anymore or if there is .. maybe someone else can help you with that

edit :

- i used the lock picking skill .. it needs to be pretty high though (lvl 8 if i remember) .. i haven't tried forcing the chest open

Did you open the chest by force or there is a key for it?

Gary gives u the VV photo once that Nosferatu pic is returned, it is located inside skyline apartments lvl 1.

Or, if you are real nice to VV, you get one directly from the source. Some email also.

What's strange is I was offered the same side quest, but to get a poster of the resident psycho, Jeanette tastefully posed (covering all necessary bits). Only THEN was I offered the VV side quest. Maybe that's because Jeanette killed Therese.

Where is the magazine that Gary want in exchange for the Janette poster?

Gary will give u that poster after u've given him the Tap Hotel film canister.
It is located inside the Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, right below that big screen.

If I remember correctly, it is not Gary who gives you the VV poster quest, but Mitnick is the one who sends you the email. In the Skyview haven, the poster shows up on the wall next to your computer.

Spoiler:
You need the CD from the safe in the Metal Head warehouse in Hollywood for this. Once you read the email put it in your mail box.

It is Gary who gives u the poster quests via e-mail. ;)

Mitnick is the one that gives u the "A Tangled Web" quests.
Could be that Mitnick sends u THAT particular one(I don't think so).. been a while I did it.

Yeah.. did anyone do the whole emailed side-quest from Gary?

I'm trying to do his third request, which is that he wants revealing pictures of Ms. Velour. Someone said that she is the one who gives revealing pics of herself... Only problem is that she is not in her room at Vesuvius anymore... So where is she !?

Once you complete the quests for VV, she ends up downstairs on the dance floor where you can't reach her.

The poster is not that revealing, but experience points are always nice.

Well, I don't think this is exactly a spoiler, at least on this thread, but I figured I should test the color thingie.

If you are extra nice to VV, she gives you a signed photo on completing her quests, "As a reminder of a girl whose heart you have stolen" if my memory serves, to tide you over until the poster arrives to your haven. Sends you some email also.

Oh, nice consists of remembering her "please call me"s next time you talk to her, choosing the blue persuasion option when it pops up, and not asking any unnecessary guestions. And being gentle and relatively non-violent and <censored>. Actually, for some reason almost all characters of power seem to get annoyed when you ask guestions. LaCroix gives you your new haven right after you meet Heather again(convenient, that), if you go for straight "yes, sir". At least until that point...

Gary never asked me for the Nosferatu photo, so I'm making a bold assumption that it's a backup way of getting that poster.

Of course, I was playing under the philosophy that you should be very polite to people right until the point where you bash their teeth in with your sledgehammer. I don't think anyone has ever died of an acute case of brown tongue.

So basically, what you're saying is that this little fun side-quest is no longer possible for me since I did the VV-quest and didn't think about trying to get the signed picture from her then? :(

Well, I got the picture(and poster) from VV, and nobody ever wanted it. OuterParadise said he got the VV picture from Gary in exchange to the Nosferatu picture. Dunno about the poster. But it sounds weird that Gary would WANT that picture. Are you sure you didn't misread the quest? Gary's guests don't show on quest list, if I remember right. Of course, the game is horribly, HORRIBLY bugged...

These sidequests aren't really quests per se... you get no xp or anything, and the only benefit is some racy poster. Thus, they don't show up as quests... not a bug, just a design feature. Questionable, but I can see their logic.

I didn't mean that not showing on quest list was a bug. I meant that the game might had gone wonky, and prevented the acquisition of the racy poster just because it felt like it. It has occasionally done some weird stuff to me so that I had to reload an earlier savegame.

Ah, touche. And seeing as how some mailbox quests dont really work (the cafe one comes to mind), this isn't suprising. I've managed to get all of them so far... getting the Ming Xao version now, though the 8 in lockpicking requirement necessitates some cheating. :\ Oh well. I want those posters! :P

The one VV gives u is a signed picture. Gary gives u a poster instead, which looks exactly the same as the picture.

Hmm wijkmark, what's the title of Gary's e-mail u got(the one where u think he wants a VV pic)? Are u sure that he doesn't offer u the VV poster in exchange if u return him the Nosferatu photo located in Skyeline Apts lvl 1?

I think u misread the mail a bit. :)

Hmm.. that must just be correct.. hehe..
I'll check the mail again then
