i haven't been able to find a description for the bard / jester / blade songs ?

i know the jester song causes confusion, but how well does it really work?

the skald's is fairly well represented in the info screens.

& does the song for true bard & jester get better w/ level?

and with two magic harps that cause confusion wouldn't a true bard have the advantage over jesters ?

I think blade and normal bard has the same song which I do believe act as a luck spell. Jesters song casues sleep at higher levels.

The good old bard song question - my absolute favorite! What are the effects of the normal bard song, and how does it improves as you level up? I asked this already several months ago and at many different boards. Not even Bioware knows the answer. Is this question ever to be solved? Me and my half-elven true class bard, we sincerely hope so...

just downloaded the player's handbook & bard handbook, song description still seems rather vague.

it would be kinda funny if it did nothing.

that being said, i think i'll try a skald - at least i know what their song does...

and thanks to all for responding. :)

I know the blade and true bard songs raise luck, but I'm not sure how much or if it gets better with levels.

Pungyol, there's another thread that i bumped up for you, "ad&d 2nd edition online?"

there's a few links that you can use, i used nbci - downloaded a zip very quick, each book is one real long text file, no pictures.

was a real eye popping thing, i can't believe this is all free, i paid through the nose for that stuff when i was a kid
:)
