Some questions concerning mods

As the title says, I have some questions about various mods which I hope you can answer :)

1) Can anyone send me Morrowind Additions Revamped? I searched half a day until I found a download link, but it was buggy.
2) Some time ago, I read about a mod that adds random encounters at night, like thugs and thieves in the city or vampires in the other regios, but I completely forgot the mod's name. Does anyone remember such a mod?
3) I noticed something weird: instead of dropping their usual loot (the weapons they wield) all Dremora's and Golden Saints drop common silver weapons when killed, even if they were clearly wielding something else. I suspect a mod changed this, but it is a little difficult to tell which mod does what when you have almost 150 installed... Does anyone know which mod might have changed this?

How is it buggy, and where did you download it from?

2) Some time ago, I read about a mod that adds random encounters at night, like thugs and thieves in the city or vampires in the other regios, but I completely forgot the mod's name. Does anyone remember such a mod?

Sounds like any of three mods. Zappara's Disturb the Dead brings out a ton of different dead (or undead, if you like) at night, usually away from urban areas. Morrowind Comes Alive will also add some urban and rural encounters, and if you're jumped by an assassin in town, some MCA NPCs such as crusaders and warriors will leap to your defense. As Wrath points out, SuperAdventurers adds a few living (and dead) encounters, mainly to unguarded city areas at night. I've been attacked by pickpockets and vampire rogues walking around Vivec after dark. Very nice. :)

Tough one. That could be any mod which attempts to tweak game balance. Many mods that do other things do this, as well. For what it's worth, I suggest trying R's Daedric Loot Adjustment. It's available at Morrowind Summit, but there's no direct link; just search the mod database under the author, R, or the title. Be sure you load it towards the end (if you have a utility like TEStool, you can modify its time) of your mod list, so it overrides whatever is causing that effect you want to remove.

I tried to download it from the authors site, http://www.freewebs.com/brewu4/, but the max speed was a whopping 1 kbps and at 83% (about 3 hours) the download just stopped.

I'll try Super Adventurers soon, but the readme says you best use the mod with a new game to activate all changes, and I already have 4 characters :D And, for the moment, I'm a little in love with Fortify Intelligence, and SA removes that effect...

Thanks for the tip fable! I'll try it right away!
Edit: I took a quick look at R's mod, and it is indeed (as a comment on mwsummit said) very imbalancing. You can get a daedric daikatana or towershield at lvl 5 or 6  I changed it a little so that they drop Dwemer weapons below level 15...

Morrowind Summit's the place to go, then. There may be queues, depending upon whether certain files access FilePlanet or not, but I just put 'em in the background, do something else, and wait for the bell to tell me my download's ready.

That is the problem: it isn't available on any known mod site, like mwsource, mwsummit, or thelys.

Edit: I just found a version on MWsource! So that leaves all the questions answered... Thanks for your aid fable and wrath :)

The name of the mod for random encounters (for mortal guys, anyway) is called Rouge Attacks and is available on Thelys.com, Whereas the one for vampires is called Vampiric Realism (i think) and is also available on Thelys, but it also adds some new vamp options (like the ability to bottle the blood from corpses [or, if you want, yourself] in order to use them like a potion which restores 45 health)

You're probably referring to Mephisto's Rogues and Ambushes. It's a good mod, and it does involve ambushes of the NPC, but in need of some further development. Unfortunately, Mephisto has modded in quite a while.

Whereas the one for vampires is called Vampiric Realism (i think) and is also available on Thelys, but it also adds some new vamp options (like the ability to bottle the blood from corpses [or, if you want, yourself] in order to use them like a potion which restores 45 health)

No, not Vampire Realism. That only adds encounters with Vampires, and that's a tiny piece of this mod. You're right, most of it concerns changes in how you'll be affected when you become a vampire. This mod also conflicts with a number of others that affect vampire behavior.

Oh, I think I mixed vamp realism up with vampiric embrace
