Inconsistancies/glitches in the game? (Spoilers)
On Korriban, when you go into Dreshdae from the Ebon Hawk, does anyone besides me ever hear what sounds like a Rodian being killed? This always happens in the first section of hallway, before you make the left-handed turn. I'm going to try to spell this out phonetically.
It sounds like he says, "dooooogaaaaaaaheeeeee?"
Wow...looking at that, it looks pretty retarded.
Also, did anyone besides me notice that, in the Bastilla flashback sequences (when she's fighting Revan), she carried a normal lightsaber, but, when she joins your party, it becomes a double-sided one?
On the Endar Spire, when the jedi is killed by an explosion after dispatching the Dark Jedi, why aren't you able to pick up the Jedi lightsaber? Even if it wouldn't allow you to use it? After all, Han Solo used Luke's in Empire.
And don't say that the game comes before the movies. I know it does. That doesn't sound like a feasible excuse.

I've got some other ones...
Why is it that we can use powers such as heal and plague and horror and death field in a game like star wras? Its not the Forgotten Realms, its StarWars, they are not mages. I would say something about force lightning but can't since its actually in a movie.
Also, if a jedi can use heal in starwars, then surely Anakins arm could be easilly attached back or just healed back? Plus, if they have the technology to clone, why can Anakin not just grow another arm. Using some stem cells?
(I know its not related to the game, but who really cares?)

Hmm... I also hear the Rodian when I speed past the hallway on Korriban. In fact, I hear very often.
There are other many other glitches in the game. One I took some pain to discover is this-
the armour that you get from the Mandalorian Commander outside the Temple cannot be worn! If you put it on anyone in your party (naturally, I put it on Canderous), you will get stuck when Ebon Hawk lands on the Star FOrge. The game simply will hang!
The other glitch i noted is perhaps subjective, according to versions. I wrote it on a thread "Dune Sea Problems"
-while fighting the desert wraids for the 1st time, you stand a good chance of being ambushed by the Sand people, making it a rather superbly dangerous fight! Especially when your party is still mid level only.

I think this is subjective, too. I mean, I've been able to put the armor on Canderous and land on the Star Forge with no ill effects. In fact, I beat the game again earlier to day (as a DS player, so Jolee and Juhani weren't with me), and Canderous was there.

But the Rodian thing freaked me out when I first heard it. It was about 3:30am, and I was hopped up on cold medicine.

It's thr Xbox version where I've heard it. On Dreshdae, when you enter the first hallway from the Ebon Hawk. It's not every time, though.

Did you see the guy who killed the rodian there earlier? The hallway now seems to be haunted because of it.
Why would you need a lightsaber that early in the game? You can't use it. And you get Bastila's back when you get her back so...

Why wouldn't you want a lightsaber that early???!!! Lightsabers are cool and make a funky noise and cut things lot mwah mwah ha ha ha! Sorry! I agree that you couldn't use it but it would still be fun to have picked it up even if it was just to sell it or maybe get a bit of dialogue or something about it. Oh well too late for that now!

Nope. I've had it occur even when convincing him to let the Rodian and the other Sith go.

It's not that you NEED one. I just don't see the point in not being able to pick it up.
Also, I had another glitch today. T3-M4 has now been replaced by another Big Z. I have two Wookies, and only one droid, HK-47.
Here's something else I thought of: When on the Leviathan, Saul mentions that Dantooine - where the Jedi Academy is - has been destroyed.
If that's true, then how can the following exchange take place in the Star Wars movie
(Episode 4)?
Leia: Dantooine. They're [The Rebels and Rebel Base] on Dantooine.
Tarkin:There. See, Lord Vader, she can be reasonable. Continue with the operation. You may fire when ready.
Leia: What?
Tarkin: You're far too trusting. Dantooine is too remote to make an effective demonstration - but don't worry; we'll deal with your rebel friends soon enough.
This exchange declares that Dantooine is still in existence. The game takes place BEFORE the Star Wars trilogy. Did they designate another planet "Dantooine" after this one was destroyed?

I assume that 'destroyed' refers to the surface being devastated, rather the planet blown apart. Plenty of time in the next 4000 years for it to recover.

That's something I hadn't considered. Based off the way the conversation went, I always assumed it meant that the planet had been destroyed, a la Taris.

No Taris wasn't completley destroyed either, only the surface of the planet was decimated. The sith didn't have any super weapons like a death star only an enormous fleet of ships and even that could't destroy a planet.

Are you sure, Macleod? I certainly got the impression that the planet was destroyed. Not just the surface. I'll have to go back through a game to cite instances where it's hinted, but I was definitely believing that the planet was destroyed.
I understand about the Death Star technology. But that's why the Imperial Fleet needed to be repositioned.

I think you're reading too much into it. This is going off topic but in some of the books it says how impossible it would be even for a fleet of ships to completely destroy a planet. Just assume that the surface was wasted like Dantooine (Dantooine definately just had the surface bombarded seeing as it's in Kotor2)

MacLeod's right: let's please stay on topic. Or create another thread for this, if you'd like.

It would devalue the Jedi Trials later on. Why have a character *make* a lightsaber - an important part of becoming a Jedi according to all Star Wars lore - when he can simply pick one up?
It could logically be explained by being damaged to the point of uselessness in the explosion that killed the Jedi.

I never put it on Canderous, but I put it on Carth. It works fine! He even wears it in the movie at the end. Actually, that's weird. How come everyone else is wearing their clothes etc that they were wearing last time you had them in your party, but you are just wearing the same old Jedi robes? Wasn't what I had on last!
Anyone else have their game just randomly quit down occasionally when they try to load a new area? That counts as a glitch, right?
