Does anyone here read IGN? If not make sure you go to http://pc.ign.com/news/33870.html and read about the Quiver of Plenty. I saw somebody requested this in another item creation topic so I thought I'd post the link to it.

If you take a look at the first screenshot at the bottom of that page, in the combat info/dialogue box it says:"Elminister:Casting Failure". I guess that elminister can help you in ToB like Drizzt could in SoA.

BioWare use Elmister avatar for testing purposes, I already seen him on pre-release BG I and BG II screenshots.
As for the item, its good if there would not be any more "Bows of infinite arrows"....

Or as long as the bows of infinite arrows are not the best weapons in the game. In BG2 the quiver would be very nice with Tuigan, Strongarm, or Heartseeker. If they also had +4 arrows they could use when needed they would pass up the ammoless bows.

Damn. I was getting hopeful the screenshot meant something. Well, I hope they do include Elminster in ToB. I would really, really like to kill him as payback for the arrogant cameos in BGI.

Perhaps they could make it an equivalent challenge to "killing" Drizzt in BGI?

Or maybe he could be a near-end boss for a character taking an evil route (if such turns out to be allowed).

Come now. If you're wanting help against anything short of gods in the realms, you don't *deserve* a crack at Elminster.

Ok, what I would like to do in ToB: kill Elminster, massacre large group of harpers (shouting "You will suffer! You will ALL suffer!!"), kill 3 dragons at once, chop up large armies of whatever with my pal Sarevok, and generally lay waste to the realms.

And see Keldorn back home. Feel sorry for the guy.
