Imagine that in the next BG we will be able to choose a race and start a war.....who are you going to choose (and lead to victory)?? Surfacers so that we can finally butt-kick Loth, or Drows, in order to have female power and drow pleaseures......
I choose surfacers.....

My Halfling army will be victorious over all. We shall saw everyone's legs off so we are the tallest race in the land.
Halfling's victorious!

Dwarves do it better
They are better equipped anyway (you know what they say about the short ones, right?)
Only problem is I am about 1.85 so...

Of course, the drow aren't just at war with the surface. What about illithid, kou-tao, beholders, and sahuagin?

is that your masterplan for conquering the surface: Taking away the sun-blocker from the surfacers...?

Okay, Gruntboy, just when did *you* join the halfling army? Just curious.
Hey, the more the merrier. Just how this topic went from drow vs. surfacer, I don't know, but anyone under the height of an elf who wants to join this army is fine by me.
Halflings and dwarves of the world, unite!

Well, I thought the idea of a party full of stumpy guys was funny. Never said I was against it.
Their high magic resistance and hairy feet will overcome the Drow. Better watch they don't eat me, oink oink!

Stumpy but effective. It all came from an idea that you'd probably adventure with people you know. What's the chance you'd know an elf and a half-orc and a dwarf and a gnome and you'd all get along. Hats off to you folks with all-elven parties (as much as I hate saying that), or all from the same general background. That's part of role-playing. Nice touch of realism.
Join the halfling army. See the world.

Join the halfling army. See the world - at knee height. Sling your way through enemies. Eat double rations! Get eaten by orcs... er...

Orcs? ORCS?!? They can't even see us past the bushes. We'll be through them before they even know what's coming.
Orcs!?! Right!

Aiight, I'm afraid I'd have to side with the Drow...Well, were it not for their one, incredible, BLARING weakness, I would...SUN!
Of course there's always the renegade Drow (Like Drizzt and, less famously, Kik'th) who have lived on the surface, gained resistance to the sun, adopted surface-dwelling lifestyles and so on....How would THEY be treated in this war?

They'd be hung just in case they were double-agents. Once a Drow, always a Drow...

The drow are at War with everbody, incluide thenselfs, so dont bother.
P.S. there are a lot of drows in the surface, Drizzt is one but there are a lot of followers of Elistree(CG) in the South.and Dont go in the Forest of Mir, the drows there are not very nice.

One question, do halflings/shorties/vertically challenged folk receive a to-hit bonus against larger enemies? THis would also include the average human(oid). I remember this being a rule in AD&D but I could be sorely mistaken as I don't really play it.
