What are the benefits of being evil?

I am currently playing as a good party (perhaps too good) and have good reputation, thereby getting cheaper goods, etc.
Are there any benefits of being evil...apart from the obvious role playing value?
Regards...

Evilness
I usually play good or neutral parties however this time I am a NE half-orc F/T. One benefit that can offset high item prices do to low reputation is pickpocketing or stealing items. There are also some quests that can be finished differently if you choose different dialogue options.

<maybe a spoiler>
You can do the quests in hell the evil way and not suffer a change in reputation.
Also your character can use items only evil people can use.

you can kill the cowled wizards and knights of the order that pup op in athkala for easy experience (they're a bit tough in the beginning though)

Yeah once you reach higher levels you can reach EVEN higher levels! Also, in many quests and such you can get more gold. Example:
"NPC: Help help help! A thief stole my money! If you get it back, I'll give you half!"
This was totally an example, I haven't met anyone who says that, but the evil solution is obviously to take all the gold, kill the thief and loot him, kill the NPC and take anything more he might have, kill everyone else and loot them too!!! Follow the wise words of Lilacor: Find someone rich, and kill 'em! Then find someone richer, and kill 'em too! Hack and Slash your way to fortune!

Being evil is a lot harder than being good...
first theres the reputation thing.
Second there's the fact that you pay higher prices for goods based on reputation.
3rd there arent that many opportunities to be evil enough to be truly evil. Its more like you made a halfhearted attempt cause your REALLY want to be evil but you can only ever be an evil-fanboy...
Fortunately you can always gate a demon in the middle of a town... Earlier versions of BGII let you keep your rep points as the demon is tehcnically not under your control.

Fourth, if you really revel in chaos and destruction, presumably you're going to destroy people at large, without stopping to hear them. Why, you may even kill merchants, removing access to their stock, and murder folks who are questgivers!
