Well I was trying to play a multiplayer game with a mate of mine over the net...but we kept getting this problem so I found the patch (V1.6) and installed that, so did he but then it still wouldn't work so I uninstalled the game ready to reinstall and hopefully make it work

However now I cant reinstall it, I get the auto-run feature, click on the install button and then it freezes and I get the good old "send error report" message.

I have no idea why this is happening, I have windows XP but I'm pretty sure I've installed it before (might not have done though)

I don't know about WinXP, but in older versions of Windows there is a Control Panel setting called 'Add/Remove Programs'. Look for something like that and check it was properly uninstalled.
