Huge bug

I don't know if it's *that* huge but it makes the game unplayable for me. Right after I get out of the Underdark, I'm greeted by the elves, and then the Harpers come looking for Jahiera.
Fighting them there, causes all the elves to become hostile to me. Even though I don't even touch any of them. Drawing them away into another portion of the map also makes them all hostile, even getting close to the harpers makes the elves go ballistic. What the hell?
The last save game I have is a while back because I accidently quick-saved after this event. *sigh* Anyone encountered this problem? Or know how to perhaps force NPCs to become neutral again through the console? Any help would be appreciated.
