SPOILERS BELOW!! (This is your warning)












Hi. Im in Chapter 4, confronting Aribeth. I've played the entire game without a henchman, but i am totally stuck here. I am a Rogue 11/Shadowdance 5.
She is immune to sneak attacks, and regenerates.

I cant melee her, because every attack does like 20 damage (and i only have just over 100 hp), and if i shoot her with a bow, hide and run, shoot.... she regenerates fast enough to cancel out the last attack.

any suggestions?

should i just buy like 20 traps?

If it is possible, go back to the Temple of Tyr and buy a greater swordsman's belt. Aribeth should be much easier then. If you have Use Magic device skill, buy a scroll of Elemental shield or a mestil's acid sheath, Aribeth should then kill herself.

ive gotten her down to badly injured once, but thats it. I've spent like 150000 on traps, but she just stands in the same place and casts. Most of her spells are ineffective because of Evasion, but the ones that do get though butcher me. I take tons from divine damage, negative energy and that blade wall thing.

Sounds like you need a big sword or something that can help you against Evil creatures.

I had the same problem and died about 3 times before I killed her. I was playing with a level 15 sorcerer and I did have a henchman (and two summons... but i think she banished them and sharwyn doesn't do much anyhow). You just have to beat at her... try to do something to power up your attacks so when she gets down to 'badly wounded' or 'near death' it doesn't give her any time to cast a spell to heal herself. It also works well if you try to attack while she casts... she won't have time to heal then either.
