Guys new to this site so this question is probably been answered before (looked but couldnt find it). I left firkraags dungeon where he had killed a couple of party members and left all the loot behind to come back and get after a bit of rest and resurection. came back and all that was left was any keys that had been dropped. Ive saved in a way that i cant go back, Can i get it back somehow, There was enough cool stuff lost to warrant a restart but id prefer not thanks.

Leaving an area and resting are good ways to lose stuff. You can return your stuff by cheating. There's two ways to do that: use a game editor like
Shadowkeeper.
Or you can use the CLUAConsole. To do that you better check

Most chests are safe. For instance, I leave extra goods in the chests deep within the old ship prow that functions as a slavers' headquarters. But leaving goods on the ground is a sure way to lose 'em.

I managed to keep a pile of junk very safe in the shadow thief lair, I dropped every misc item, keys, scrolls, artifacts on the floor there in one big pile and it's not gone yet

any container will save your items... If you read the superfluously long manual it states that as well...

Most items you can't sell and all quest specific items like the wardstones, shadowthief storyline scrolls and so on can't dissappear.
Reguardless it's much easier and neater to store within a chest or something.

That superfluously long manual is one of the few I respect among all the games I've reviewed or seen in more than two decades of playing. It could have had a bit more flavor--I would have separated out the spells section and the history/geography into two other books, for instance, as the older Ultima products did. But at least, it gave you good, (relatively) accurate information, and plenty of it.
Note that once you move into ToB, you'll lose everything you've stored. You have to keep it with you, to keep playing.

If you left something behind you in Watcher's Keep (While in SoA), can you get it back in ToB?

No. Though they're both Watcher's Keep, they're in effect recreated in two separate games. Only such things as the enemies you've defeated and the advances you've made are tracked.
