Me and a friend have played de SoA and the ToB with a six-member party, and are finishing the Icewind DaleII with a two-member party. I put another post in the "other stuff" asking about any rpg to play... and now we are considering to play the BGII again.
We think that adding the Tactics mod and maybe the Spell-50 could be cool... and about this I have two questions:
1- Any mods you can recommend?
2- The HARD question: play a two-member game (we're thinking in a kensai13-thief and a kensai9-mage, but are open to any help, comment, etc) with the Tactics mod is a suicide? We're afraid of too many reloads and imposible battles playing only two characters because other posts and reviews claim that Tactics is tough for a six-member party.
On the other hand, take in account that all we want is have fun and face challengues, not thousands of reloads and desperation!

Play tactics and try to solo a non shadowkeeped druid. Or a wizard slayer. But for real you wont have fun.

Do this for fun: Have a non magic party when playing tactics. Only clerics or druids, and wizard slayers. That was the hardest run for me.

He's playing with a buddy; I don't think "soloing" would be the word.

Tactics is beatable (mostly), but soup up your characters... Shouldn't be hard, what with all the money two characters would accumulate. Just remember to opt out of the first componant: Improved (whatever the duergar's name is). I was shocked when playing and I saw a Fallen Deva appear in SoA...

Minsc ran in with a +1 longsword... He didn't last to long...
