Can't open door at Ming Xiao! (spoiler?)

I can't open the big red door in the waterwheel room inside Ming Xiao's temple lvl2

I get the symbol to push the wooden bar away but nothing happens...
I've had some minor bugs earlier, but installed that unofficial patch to make them all disappear.

Nevermind I just made it... I did however try to push it earlier and it didn't work.. so it's still a bit of a mystery..

Same thing happened to me.

Wouldn't slide when I walked into the handle. Came here to see WTF. Will reboot my whole machine and try again.

Try doing melee attacks in the direction of the crossbar. That is what got it open for me.

only use "w"

this push symbol doesnt has an affect.just place ur charecter in front of the door.And push "w" direction key to the left of the door to move the barricade.ı got the same problem and tried to use "e" when i saw that symbol but doesnt happened something.
