From looking at your party i would keep both and dump Aerie. I don't think u need two clerics. If she is your love ,dump Jaheira.

Imoen has better thieving skills but aren't your chars much more experienced than her by then?

If you're doing the deed with Aerie, keep her. But weasels right, you don't need 2 clerics (I don't think you need 2 mages...).

I'd dump aerie and Imoen, keep nalia and get someone else. But what do I know?

Suneelu it really depends on your playing style. As you can see i lean to more spells and if i got this right Gruntboy leans more to the fighters.Either will work.

But what do i know? (Borrowed from Gruntboy)copy right 2000.

You did get that right - good boy! 1 mage, 1 cleric, 1 thief (dual/multi either of the last 2 or the mage/thief for maximum fighteness) 3/4 fighters.

Each to their own. Actually, I feel like an arrogant git posting on topics like this (and I'd be right). Choose for yourself man, just let it all go and choose. Choose life, choose a job, choose a bif f*ing TV, choose fixed mortgage repayments. I chose not to choose life, I chose BG2.

I had almost the same party. I got rid of Jaheira and kept Imoen. Worked great for me. Had 3 strong fighters, 3 mages, and one cleric (which was enough at that stage of the game). Lots o' power all around!

The subject of this post just struck me as highly amusing.

"Tonight on foxy boxing, Nalia Vs Imoen"

"In the Pink corner, the feisty sidekick, the twisted sister, IIIIIIIIIIIIIMOEN!"

"And in the Yellow corner, the foppish tart, the rich b*tch, NAAAAAAAAAAAAALIA!"

"Ladies, let the hairpulling and catfighting begin"

"Dude - is that mud they're wallowing in?"

Nalia flings Imoen off the ropes and... Ooooooooooh! That's gotta hurt! LOL

Seriously, I guess it's the role-playing PNP D&D gamer in me, but how can it even be an issue. You just gotta take Imoen with you. She's your childhood friend and half-sister, for cryin' out loud!

Good point. I always feel pangs of regret when I do things like leave her behind. Its like playing BG1 over and not using Jaheira/Khalid and Minsc/Dynaheir because you know that's what the designers based BG2 on.

Still its a bummer if you feel you gotta take her - can really limit your choices for the other 4. Then why leave Jaheira out? Not only did you adventure with her all that time, BG 3 is probably going to be yours and hers offspring. 3 Different plot lines for the 3 (4) romances?

Is it possible to hump all 3, anyone? C'mon you love rats, anyone tried?

And what is it with Anomen, he's pretty randy even if you're a guy? Anybody done all 4?

ANOMEN, that guy is a punk. I was just thinking when will he break out his story of how he killed 30 dragons all by his self with both of his arms and legs broke. If i had not been playing as a Cavalier, i would have kicked him out and then to give him a tell to talk about ,I would have dualwielded his bragging arse. But this is IMHO.

If you're a girl Anomen can be really sweet.
(strange that he still keep saying 'Yes, what is it now?!' after I did some funky stuff with him.)

The thing that upset me tough was that the second night he practically begged, not practically, he begged me alright, never ever to leave him.
Whaddayaknow the next day he runs off to kill his father and sister's killer. I (being as vendictive as I am) came after him to drag his sorry ass back and then turned out to save his paladinhood etc etc. After all this, guess what, Bodhi kidnaps him and I have to run after him again. (sigh, men are such wimps)

I dunno, the guy treats you like dirt ("Yes, what is it now?!", runs off, turns into a vampire) and you keep coming back for more.

And whats this "men are such wimps" thing. I'm not going to rise to the bait, but you're not a... a man-hater, are you? Image

Keep coming back for more hehn?
well let me tell you this. You should never ever break a promise to me. I seriously detest it. Lying sure, but not about promisses. What did he do, break a promiss, I was about to seriously kick his ass, but then I realised that I'm basicly a nice person, so I didn't.
And no, the promiss thing does not have a specific reason and no I'm not a man-hater. And no, not all men a wimps, just most of them. (especialaly the ones who can't take criticism)

I never thought my topic would get such responses, especially humorous one. I loves the boxing ring response. Gruntboy, that was good!

Seriously, I wanted to know if Imoen is worth keeping in the party considering that Nalia has finished all the lvl 2 & 3 quests possible and can cast level six spells from memory.

Also, Aerie is a cleric and Jaheria is a Druid, and there are different additional spells each has.

Plus, I'm a guy who will go for pretty faces, so the more women, the better.

If given a choose between Nalia and Imoen at the point your at it would be Nalia.Still IMHO dump Aerie ,Jaheira can handle all the major cleric stuff.

I would dump Keldorn. But that's just me. If it comes to choosing between Nalia and Imoen, and they're at a similar level, I would choose Imoen because she gets extra spells. Plus Nalia isn't exactly my favorite character. As you can see, I'm a mage person. I have two fighters and four mages in my party. Does that help at all?
