Ventru Tower- elevators *SPOILER*

I've killed the fake Lacroix, planted the bomb on the elevator, sent it up, watched it blow up, and I'm stuck. Is there a way for me to get the elevator to return or does it return automatically, because if it does, it isn't. Can't figure another way up to the next floor.

Next to the button that sent the elevator up should be another button to call it back down.
