Since there are a few new members in the forum, or have returned, I want to post up this poll again, just for fun

Mine is the Altmer (High Elf), mainly because I LOVE magic, and also I think they are very attractive.

Well.. Altmers are third on my hate list of races in morrowind..

My vote goes for Argonians..

me likey to be the Imperials, with the lady as birthsign. It puts you personality at 75 when you start the game. and your endurance starts at 65

Bretons, though I really have no preferences as such. I just like the magical bonus, but there are advantages to other races, as well.

Orcs. Everyone views Orcs as barbarians, but in TES they are quite civilised. I think they are a bit like samurai.

I like Bretons and Dark Elves, primarily.
I also like Altmers and Bosmers a lot.
I'm so so on Redguards and Nords, because I don't really care for more fighter-oriented characters.
I just can't get into Imperials for some reason; I'm not sure why, but they bore me.
While I have thought about it, I've never been able to play Argonians or Khajiits; ditto for orcs. Basically because I tend to create characters that portray certain elements of myself... so playing a cat or lizard doesn't really work.. and I'm neither big nor brawny, so I can't really play orcs either.

I think, if I were to pick a Morrowind race that most closely ressembles me, it would be either a Breton or Dunmer. The former because I'm inclined towards the metaphysical and mysticism, and I have a lot of Celtic blood. Dunmer.. because I'm attracted to darkness....

When I would have to choose the race that fits my own personality best, I think bosmer would be the good choice. It's small, it looks cute, but it can bite hard

Bosmer, as well. I don't like them so much for the bonusses though because those are not great. But Bosmer, they're sneaky, they'd rather shoot you from afar instead of duking it out with you. They're the perfect burglars/assassins.

I personally think that Imperial or Dunmer characters fit in better with some of the quests than the other races (i.e Imperial Cult/legion and house Indoril, Telvanni and Redoran)

Edit - Indoril is the Temple - i.e. indoril armour. Hlaalu is the only house whose councillors are not dunmer

House Indoril? Do you mean House Hlaalu? What about temple?

Why wouldn't other races fit so well? Could you please explain what you are meaning with that?

In Morrowind.. it doesn't matter on how you look like.. it is just like this.. ''do you have those skill's that we want? Good..'' So in Morrowind you can be whatever you want if you have the right skills..

well my name used to be Darc_Elv_Nyte, so i guess my name speaks for my choice

i like dark elves because they look cool, and have the nice hairstyles (i.e the long hair and the spikes) the other races have them too, but i think it looks best on the Dark Elves

I vote Dark Elves... I just love them. They've got that attitude like "Mess with me and you're dead." Yet, they can also be nice...

bretons are my vote. its the combonation of high magical resistance (great for avoiding "drain attribute spells" which i hate) high magical bonuses and most of the bretons in the game are pretty decent folk.

second place is the dunmer. the combonation of the appearance and the race specific bonuses are pretty decent. add the sign of the atronach and you're laughing.

Definately had to vote Breton. Their racial Magic bonus/resistance abilities are pretty "sweet" (for lack of a better adjective).

I love Dark Elves mostly because they can handle both magical and physical skills.But also because i think they look real cool.

I voted for Khajiits. You know what you're at when you meet one - that's the way I like it. Alright, all of them are thieves and stuff but who isn't...

Next on the list would be Redguards. They're just cool, aight?

And then...perhaps Nords. Man, they are really cool if you know what I mean . Tuff guys, a bit slow...but tuff.

And last but not least: Dunmers. When I'm playing an assassin then it must be a Dunmer. They kick buttocks. They are bad. Remind me of...well...myself, somehow.

yeah dark elves r cool cos they r good at almost everything.

imperials and orcs r ok.

Wood Elf

the wood elf is a great theif. i use him to steal and shoot arrows at the mulitude of racers chasing me. i wish i could show everyone my redoran base. im one theif who has stolen every little thing so i made my base into lets say a pimped out elf crib. silver plates and cups and lime ware every where. i like to make my gold flow from limeware bowls. this game seems to be limitless.

Dark elves look the sickest looking and are really well rounded.

Next would be breton because of magic

Worst would be Khajiits but they do look cool.
