Post by shiftroc »

hey guys,
i'm at the part when you report back to the prince about the death of that crazy dude in the wack mansion (don't remember the name). I'm wondering if jeanette appears at other places besides the asylum later on in the game? in the trailer i see her in a different room with a jacuzi with a chick in it in the background? where is it??!

thanks,
shift

Heh, I also noticed a girl in a cowboy hat in the middle of the Club Confession dance floor on the back of the box the game came in talking about pearls or something, yet I've never met her and.. Reading the walkthrough, I didn't see mention of her either. I'd suggest they prolly cut a few things out when it came to market. Who knows, maybe you can still spawn those NPC's in using the console? Keep an eye out for "Jan-swimsuit" or "cowboyhat-girl" or something in the commands eh? *wink*

The cowboy hat girl is a female Malkavian PC model wearing some armor... not sure which. *I think...* not sure.

One of the reasons I discontinued playing my malkavian was because I couldn't stand his appearance. I dislike playing topless characters, but I breezed through Santa Monica and could hardly wait to go Downtown to visit Fat Larry. I bought the clothes, put them on, and nearly threw up at the sight. I know it's supposed to be "insane" but IMO it comes off as idiotic. I contemplated trying a female character, but then I read about the cowgirl outfit and decided that me and the Malkavian clan have an inreconcileably different taste in clothing and I gave up on them....

I'm curerently playing a Malkavian female, but I've substituted all the other outfits (armor 1-3) with the meshes for Brujah females. (Incidentally the face is almost the same)

Male Malkavians are even worse.

Yeah, I THOUGHT the cowboy hat girl might be the malkavian modle when I saw her armour, but then I thought: Wait, why would the malkavian PC modle be asking me for pearls?? And if shes a malkav, does she really MEAN Pearls??

I also noticed, as I'm sure most of you did, that the PC modles are scattered around in the first cut scene. Staking you, holding you for the Prince, sitting in the seats... So I thought maybe if YOU don't play that PC, you might meet them in game or something. That, actauly, would'a been pretty neat!! Espeicaly if there were clan/gender specific missions for each of them.. Maybe even just ONE per clan/gender.. Then you could have met other PC's you'd played and assist them in missions you remember doing. COOL!
