LOL. Do you trust us?
I vote for weasel
Seriously though, I wouldn't mind taking the IWD forum off your hands Buck - there's so little goes on in there anyways...

Hey Buck, My e-mail isn't working at the moment, so mind if I submit using a Pm? If so, I'll wouldn't mind taking the V:tMR forum and moderating it. I know everything about the game, I can help people in it, and I now the difference between right and wrong.

Buck, Weasel would make an excellent choice, if he's interested.
Even better, Minerva.
They have both proven their value to GB over a long period of time.

We'll need somebody who spends time in the forums and is still ok to nominate.
But if Flagg plans to get a new job with internet access there would be no need for a new mod.

A bit off topic:
I was just checking out the new boards put up like NWN scripting and was thinking maybe you(Buck) shoud make a new page for our guild, "The Blades of Banshee" only because when the game comes out and people are posting, the pages would be crowded by the guild related topics. But if its going to cost mroe money or something quite difficult you really don't have to do it. Just a suggestion.

The only problem with finding someone who is constanly around, and has been around for awhile, is that most of them have either left, or aren't around as often. Yes, Weasel would make a great choice, but since he dropped his spamming ways, he comes on maybe once a day or so, same with Minerva. Whats needed is someone is around at all times, knows their stuff, and is willing to do the work. Those are people like myself, Armadin, and Fable. If I missed someone, sorry.

I will help in the BG1 Forum if no one else will.
As for Icewind Dale I would say Gruntboy.
Neverwinter Nights... Xandax.
Speak Your Mind....god help this person.
Shadows of Amn, Throne of Bhaal, I have no idea...maybe Saber or Fable?
PoR forums Mr.Sleep

An excellent idea Buck, with the increasing number of posts and Flagg not being able to use internet at his new job.
I don't know who is active in what forums since I only read the SOA, P:T, IWD and SYM, but MPO is that Fable or Weasel would be very suitable moderators, should they have the time and inclination to do the job. Probably it's wise to look for people in different time zones, and again MPO is that Sleep, Grunt, Aagis or Xandax would also do a great job as mods. Sure many other users would be equally suitable, these are the members I first came to think of as possible mods.
Good luck in your mod search, Buck
And as usual, thank you for keeping this excellent board
@Weasel: SYM would be like a full time job, I suppose

Saigo...!
Err, I am flattered. If the job is just keeping eye on the usage of language and other going-ons, I'm tempted. However, I cannot help games and computers, so I don't think I am a good choice.
Personally, I will be happy to see Gruntboy looking after Icewind Dale forum. He answers to most questions anyway, and has been great help to many. Besides, he is clever enough to separate his moderating job with having fun (in the SYM, mostly).

I would love to volunteer my services, but for two problems: an unfortunate lack of time, and a suspicion that my interpretation of Rule #3 will someday get me banned (j/k)
But seriously, filling a moderator slot in the SYM forum will be very difficult. No one will be available 24/7. However, I'm sure that there are any number of people, like me, who would be willing to help out as time permits. I suspect that Fable may fall into such a category, as well as others who haven’t been mentioned yet like Waverly or Dragon Wench. Perhaps you might consider creating a position for "Jr. Moderators", who could help watch, post warnings if necessary, but would ultimately defer to a Sr. Moderator for the serious stuff?
You could call them "Satan's Watchdogs" or get three of them and call them "Cerberus". But there I go, making jokes again.

@Gwal: Satan's Watchdogs? very clever...
@Buck: If it's people with time that you need, I got plenty of it. I'm 16, no license, in a new area with know constant friends, and I never log of computor except to sleep. Plus, I'm well versed in the rules. I am willing to handle any job I'm given (Even the dreaded SYM) as long as I get a chance.

I appreciate the mention, @CE. @Buck, I do spend a fair amount of time checking in; if you think I'd qualify, I'd be glad to help out. My only problem is that I'll be gone for three weeks in September to Hungary, on vacation. Keeping that in mind, if you're interested, you have my email address.
